(POSSSIBLY SPOILERS) Can someone help mi with this question I have about Extraordinary Attorney Woo?

The last chapter I've seen is the one of the autistic lady that is in love of a not autistic man. Given the fact that the man was imprisoned becaus they were on a relationship and they said it was not possible to be for sure that the autistic woman wanted or not to be in arelationship, couldn't this exact same thing happen to Lee Joon if someone discovered he and Woo are in love and they kissed?
