well, mum and I just finished watching PP last night.

This drama has made me cry SO MUCH ! we were both weeping like children, sharing the box of tissues.

I was holding out for a miracle right until the end - what was the point in seeing him die and having doers all those times before if he's going to die prematurely in the end anyway?! and this time with MORE people who will be devastated that he's dead! come on! I'm so annoyed at that. I'm annoyed that the family listened to him and got 'sent away' (but oh so very glad that Gook Soo came back to live with Omma) - but they should all have gone with him & Ji na (didn't she say when she first scoped the house that there was somewhere for them to all live?!) - Jung should never have left, that's for sure (but oh gosh, wasn't his acting terrific - Choi Tae Joon has gone on my list of 'people to watch out for').
Overall I'm left saddened, and a wee bit disappointed, although I cannot deny it's beauty, and moments of joy - especially within the family. In fact, I think my favourite thing about this drama were the relationships within the family (and i'm including Hyo Sook in that) - although with poor Jung I kept shouting at the TV 'hug him! just give him a hug!!' but they never did (which broke my heart a little bit every time).
Will I miss it? the characters? yes. the crying? no.

Awww Abs! I'm glad you guys finished. I wish the ending had been different too. (NOT better exactly...don't get me wrong) but different. I sort of saw it coming so I was resigned to it though. And my one nitpick about this show was the fact that they -->ended up writing Jung as not his biological son and that yes, he ended up going to the US. But I do have to say it is even more power the strength of love and devotion capable within Kang Chil that it mattered to him not one whit that Jung wasn't blood. And what a powerful message and Lesson for Jung to take away from that for his life!! That man loved him and wasn't even his blood. Loved him enough to send him off for better things! And Jung's speech when he was confessing to JI Na!? One of the most tender and real scenes. Where he says how a part of him wants to go to better himself, for his education and to know his bio dad...all the while his heart is breaking for his "Appa" Kang Chil! I thought the writers wrote and the actors played those scenes perfectly and with so much realism! The end was...Very Sad but I'm glad Padam Padam closed with Kang Chil naked and rolling around in the snow with Ji Na...Laughing. Ah Well...<--- ♥♥♥ :)

Watch something Happy now for gosh sakes!! Is your Mum gonna come on and share her thoughts by any chance?

yeah that made us both laugh lots - and we were fairly resigned for the outcome, but I'm an optismist so was clinging on for dear life.
We have been watching it along side full house (the original) for some light relief!
I think we've decided to watch Athena next (yay for a bit of gun-play, and sexy men)

I'll remind mum to come on in and post her thoughts - so I'm sure she will. ^^

P.S.: this song (and everything to do with PaPa) somehow reminds me of Gook Soo and not Kang Chil..miahne lol

not bad...can't say I'm addicted to it atm.
I don't know how I feel about Kang Chil yet...his flashes of anger every now and then still surprise me a bit lol (his emotions are very understandable tho) but Jung Woo Sung is playing it really well!
& I just love when Gook Soo keeps saying he's an angel ^_^ aww so precious~
