[Discussion] The Moon Embracing The Sun

I finished it and I am sorry but this is another one I didn't really enjoy. but the guys were cute if the moon would have put a little emotion into her lines I might have liked it a little more... this was about the romance and I felt that lacked spark.

I had saved the last 3 episodes to watch together & I wasn’t disappointed everything that needed to be resolved was resolved with a neat bow. All the villains were suitably punished. We had the usual good guys sacrificing themselves for the greater good.

Although I was more moved by Seol’s demise than Yang Myeong, his death seemed a little selfish to me whereas hers was heroic. I had hoped earlier in the series that she might end up with Un but Im glad in the end that it didn’t happen it stayed true to life & showed how someone who is good & kind doesn’t get her prince at the end.

My favourite scenes in this last few episodes were:

Serious scene when the young Crown Prince shouts at the current King.

Comedy scene the part when good ol’ Hyeong Seon had his Hendrix moment with the gayageum lol.
An excellent drama one of my top 5 & nearly all of the cast were excellent!!

Her death moved me more too than Prince Yang Myung (I felt he basically committed suicide by another's hand).
