There were various scenes that was added in the screen play and with TJC’s interpretation of the character, which gave a slightly different feel for me when I compare the novel XL and drama XL. Hahaha…I do love the drama XL more.

I also like how ep 31 and 32 was done, the healing process felt very respectful and XL was very humane in the drama, showing his emotions, you don’t and can’t read that in the novel. 

As mentioned by AH earlier also, the three tear drops left by XY was a very nice touch added in the drama.

Another quick observation, Ep 34, when FFB appeared and brought XY to the slave arena, he wanted XY to have hope about TSJ and not give up even the situation appears gloomy after TSJ is force to be clan leader.

Yes, the opposite of ZX who tells her the only way to be sure of not getting hurt is to not have hope in the first place. 

It's actually nice that we can enjoy what the drama can offer that the novel didn't, and vice versa.

The novel is for explicit details, while the drama is for expressions.

I mean... the novel definitely has more. Multiple instances where XY lays on top of XL for a while, sits in his lap, allows him to "pass air" to her under water... Some of the blood sucking scenes are more sensual and some describe XL's lips on her neck or him stroking or massaging her neck.

And the scene that made TSJ fall for XY, where she blushed and reacted to his body? At that point XY had spent half a year regularly seeing him fully naked during his medical treatment. She carried him into the tub and carries him out of the tub at the end of the scene. She watched him wash his upper body and reacted when he was going to wash his lower body. 

Not super explicit, but definitely more than what they've shown in the drama.

I knew they would not include a lot of that stuff because there is no way that would pass censorship. I was even shocked at the scene in the show where he saw her back wounds tbh or by the fact that they were even able to include the blood-sucking scenes. Especially ep 10's. 

Where do you guys think s2 will start off/open? Also, when do you guys think we will see XL again in s2?
