Can someone tell me who is this Dam they keep talking about and why Bun thinks Tan is Dam?
And as shown in a previous episode Tan knows where Pued is right? He met him at an house which gave the idea that he was either helping to hide Pued or he somehow was collaborating with Pued. And who was that guy him and That were kicking at the Mist?
Btw, this is off topic but why would the hot inspector leave a computer with such important evidence in the back sit of his car easily for anyone to see it and steal it? And why wasn't the computer sent to IT to check for encrypted files, drives or deleted files that could be recovered by an IT expert? The police searching themselves on the computer, no gloves no anything didn't seem professional to me.
anchorenomore:The sister is involved. She is probably supplyig the girls/women to these men (the chief of police, the congressman) and passing it off as a "massage" parlor when in reality it is an orgy fest where women are drugged and raped. So she is well aware of what's going on in her club. If it turns out that she had nothing to do with the deaths, she will still have something to do with the criminal activity happening in her place.
I hadn't even noticed that the place where the hot inspector met her was the massage parlor where that congressman and That were. But if she's involved but seems to have no idea who killed Jane and is looking for answers, could it mean that she didn't know Jane was "sold" to that congressman or that she was involved in any way with them? And who filmed the sextape of Jane with the politicians? Was it herself to collect evidence that she then gave to the journalist in that flashcard?

Yeah I connected the two when I saw the inspector there and also That...it made me go...OHHH the sister's place of work?
This would be interesting to find out. Because, who did film Jane? For what purpose, if not for blackmail? But who to blackmail? It's getting really interesting.

Hot inspector T_T this always makes me chuckle! He has a new moniker.
Yeah a lot of the things the police does makes little to no sense. They wear the gloves to inspect the phone, but are okay with picking up a laptop without it LOL...then they don't even have an evidence chain (where everything that is evidence must be logged in and logged out with the identifying numbers and names of those inspecting it) A lot of this drama relies on our suspension of belief and just "go with it" sort of mentality, which it's okay for me as I am used to shows like CSI/SVU doing the same at times.

Based on the novel (heavy spoilers)... Bunn is correct. Tann is indeed Dam.
In the book, the codename is translated as Mr. Black. In the series, it is subtitled as Dam. “Dam” is the Thai word for ”black.”
From the book... Tannn uses the codename Khun Dam (Mr. Black) as part of his work as an “agent” for his half-brothers, Por and Pued (spelled Paul and Pert in the English translation of the novel). Tann has reasons for needing to work for Por and Pued (mainly related to his sick mother and a bit of blackmail), and he doesn’t really like it. That (also spelled Thad) and his gang work for Tann/Mr. Black. Thad works for Tann because Tann takes him under his wing after seeing Thad’s impoverished situation. Thad‘s primary loyalty is to Tann/Mr. Black.
From a series/show perspective... Bunn starts suspecting Tann is Dam/Mr. Black because of Thad. Sorrawit had mentioned a few times that Dam has a gang (including the one that beat him up), and Thad is leads that gang for Dam. Bunn starts to suspect Tann is Dam because he saw Thad speaking to Tann after hours in the school (where Tann/Thad were discussing and investigating where the drugs were from). He starts connecting things more especially in the most recent episode when he sees Thad/Sorrawit in the police station, and it’s clear that Tann acts very much like a mentor to Thad. When Bunn finally sees the two of them beating up that guy at The Mist, he finally concludes that Tann is indeed Dam / Mr. Black since Thad has been said to work for Dam.
After watching episode 7, I fall in love with this series deeper. Bun and Tan 's chemistry is aowsome.
Episode 7 convinceing me that Rung is surely involved in everything. In my opinion she has some sort of connection with high authority people and the massage parlour seen is a hint.
She told M that she transferred money to trade the information of jane's murder. But I think she did that to shut Pat's mouth about what he knows but when he didn't agree to do that even after getting money, he ended up dead
And she keep asking to Bun about what he knows about jane's case to make sure that Bun don't know something that he shouldn't.
And how come she always wears same dress for two days. First in the starting of episode 2 and in episode 7 also🧐☺️
allancarreon:I’m willing to bet from Episode 9 that Rungthiva bailed Tann out because she knew Por would come after Tann. The police chief said it himself: Tann would be safer inside the jail than outside.
Yes that is what I believe. The way that Por inferred that she was just as bad as him or worse made me realize that she's a wolf in sheeps clothing.

Massive spoiler from the book. They can still change things up from the book, but it would still be better to have a spoiler tag in case it’s the same and people don’t want to know.
So read at your own risk.
Yes, Rungthiva is absolutely evil. The only question now is her motivation on the show because the motivation presented in the novel would likely not apply any more given the changes they’ve already made.
I’ve still been trying to make “guesses” in case the show changes the killers from the novel, but Episode 9 really sealed it for me that they’re keeping Rungthiva as the killer of Pued and one of Jane’s two killers. They’ve been painting Rungthiva as too nice to Bunn that you can almost see the showrunners are trying to “throw the scent off” her. But these subtle hints, such as Por’s description of her, are really good indications she’s just as she is in the novel.
The only question is - Jane was killed by two people in the novel (Rungthiva and Pued), so will they keep to that revelation or will the 2nd killer be someone else?
I’m predicting Dr. Oat will be involved as Rungthiva’s accomplice. Either Dr. Oat replaces Pued’s role in the novel as Jane’s other killer, or else all three of them killed her.
For one thing, the killer clearly knows his way around syringes, drugs, cardiac stimulants, etc. It would also have to be someone who has access to medical records because Por said only he and Tann knew Pued had a heart condition (presumably he excluded hospital people who knew and diagnosed it, not realizing maybe one of those hospital people who had access to Pued’s medical history may be involved.
And Dr. Oat wasn’t in the novel. They not only added the character for the show, but they cast a relatively-known BL actor in the role and made him part of the main credits. They have been giving him a fairly good amount of visibility in promotional materials, interviews, etc.
I don’t think they would do this if Dr. Oat was meant to be just another background character in the hospital (especially since there are several hospital characters from the novel they didn’t use that they could’ve used).
And so far, despite all those promotional materials and such, we’ve hardly seen Dr. Oat really do anything significant or important to the story (even Nam who is not in the main cast etc. has probably had more screen time and definitely more impact to the story as of Episode 9).
So they created a new character, hired a fairly-known BL actor to play him and promoted his involvement on the show, but they’ve largely kept the character in the background so far.
To me, this seems to indicate that they are planning a twist or revelation of some sort that the character who‘s usually in the background and occasionally being comedy relief is one of the killers.
@allancarreon yes Dr. Oat is someone I had suspected for a while now.
I am convinced he has something to do with this. He has access to the medicines needed, he would have access to Peud's medical records to know his heart condition (since he would need to see doctors regularly for checkups and medication). He would also know where to inject someone so the drugs are absorbed faster by the body. It makes sense he would be part of the rape/prostitution thing too if the city council person recruited him to cover up any of the stuff happening, such as providing abortions to the women so they can't trace the rape back to him.
I haven't read the book so for me, it will still be a surprise which ever way they want to take it. :)
After seeing episode 9, I'm still as lost as ever.
I was suspicious of Inspector M's assistant, as I was sure he was the masked guy with a chain that shot Pat (mainly because of his eyebrows matching the shooter). But now that he suggested Tan might not have killed Pued I'm not sure what to think. I also keep hoping that Inspector M himself will see the corruption in the police department and start helping Bun and Tan instead of going against them. Not so sure that'll happen now after he and the chief just stood and watched as Por acted very aggressively towards Tan while he was in jail.
Jane's sister helping Bun also threw me a bit, but it makes sense that it was done to make sure Por could get to him, but also as a way to build confidence from Bun's side. I'm still upset that he went to her in the first place.
I love that even as more and more things are revealed, everyone is still just as suspicious as they were from the start. I really can't tell where thing will go from here, and that's amazing for a murder-mystery show!
