I am in the mood to watch dramas considered classics by their country and people! Kind of like how in America we have shows like Seinfeld, I love Lucy etc that are considered classics. So do you know any Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese, etc dramas that are considered such? I feel bad that I'm not really getting into the nitty-gritty of the drama history.
It needs some work and time but first ones and from oldest part of this list what came to my mind where:

Japan

Korea

Star in my Heart http://mydramalist.com/korean-drama/1932/star-in-my-heart ( one of dramas what started fame of Korean drama and part of Korea wave - Hallyu )

Autumn Tale http://mydramalist.com/korean-drama/255/autumn-tale
Hmm The oldest drama that I have seen so far is from 1999. I have a few that are older than that on my PTW list, but I have not researched whether or not they are available to watch.

A few dramas that people consider to be old are:
Lunch Queen
Meteor Garden
Kimi wa Petto
Full House
Ace wo Nerae (based on a classic manga and anime series)
At Home Dad
Sore wa, Totsuzen, Arashi no you ni.. << This one is an excellent drama.

Another Japanese Classic: Tokyo Love Story. I've never watched all of it though, so idk if it's any good, hehe.
Long Vacation. An evergreen drama for me.
