WHAT ARE GOOD 90S JDORAMAS?

Do you have any recommendations for 1990s Jdoramas with elements of comedy in it as well as romance. I recently watch Long Vacation and loved it, so I want to watch more of 90s dramas.

I would say Love Generation. Another Kimura Takuya show.

Yea just watch all the dramas he was in- dude is amazing; I'm just now getting started with his works.

I've only seen these from that time but I loved them.

Dramas that I'd recommend without hesitation:

Virgin Road (romcom, family drama)

News no Onna (workplace and family drama, I guess?)

Hakusen Nagashi (school)

Ice World (romance, crime thriller)


Dramas that I liked personally but not as good as the rest:

Cheap Love (romance)

With Love (romance, of sorts?)

Hitorigurashi (romance)

Tabloid (crime thriller)


Dramas that were objectively good--the iconic Jdramas of the 90s, I guess--but I'm petty and I don't like their ending:

Tokyo Love Story (romance)

Over Time (friendship, romance)
