Dramas with Strong plot

I'm looking for some dramas that have a strong storyline/plot. I would like something that doesn't drag in the middle because of ridiculous misunderstandings or love triangles.  It could be modern or historical but  I want it to keep my attention for the whole drama. Please no love triangles.
