Like they don't know each other and might have slight curiousity towards each other but they don't know each other and perhaps the plot doesn't make them intersect until halfway through, and maybe then they use their to-be-married status to work together and overcome some political plots or similar.

Ive seen too many dramas where they're arranged to be married and due to pride or whatever they almost blindly shoot themselves in the foot(because ofc they'll eventually fall in love blaha blaha) . I'd rather see a drama where they're at least curious about each other before they vehemently decide to be against it.

The Japanese drama Toshi no Sakon. It's not as "complicated" as what you're looking for, though. It's just about people who are going to be in an arranged marriage and try to deal with various insecurities.

  • Intense Love - It is rather toned down in this one.
  • General's Lady - ML suspected FL at starting because of his position.
  • The Killer is also romantic - They don't have arranged marriage but they marry each other in 1st ep itself...its sort of historical version of mr. and mrs. smith.
  • Marry Me!(j-drama) - I haven't watched but have read its webtoon, it is exactly what you are looking for.

Maybe My Heroic Husband? FL  and ML didn't seem to be annoyed by the arrangement, they literally cooperating  in daily lives. The mission of this drama is ML's survival in ancient world since it's transmigration drama.

Maybe The Sword and The Brocade ? They are not happy with their mariage but they are not rebel against it either.
