increase maximum quota for blocked accounts

is there any way this could be implemented? on most sites there is no limit as to how many accounts you can block, and i feel this would make the user experience on this site a lot better. or is there some kind of reason why the limit can't be exceeded?

What's the point of block feature when it has some problems? limitation is one of them
