We are slowly approving API key requests but not to sole developer/personal project for now.

That's good to hear! Maybe I can get this "save list as document" thing off the ground then, il submit another request some time. Do you know of any current API key holders that have released their apps? curious to see what's already been done.

I gave up waiting for this feature years ago and deleted my old MDL account, creating a Google Sheets list for my own use. I rejoined because of the cast details here, but still maintain my personal spreadheet. I've come to the conclusion that it is considered not in MDL's interest to allow exporting of lists,  as that could lead to fewer eyeballs on ads.

Wow. This is a big and great job, I wonder how much time it took to write. Or is there a code to do that

If anybody's interested, I made a very short script to export your drama list as a .tsv file that can be imported into Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice etc. You don't need an API key for that, all you need to furnish is your login details as if you're signing into MDL.

The mini-project is up on my GitHub here: https://github.com/arifer612/exportMDL

If you need help you can hit me up on Discord or through PM.

I love people who work in web development and programming language. They are professionals who do whatever they want. I respect that

Thank you so much @arifer this worked wonderfully! As a first time user, your step by step guide was extremely helpful and easy to follow. I would recommend anyone who is interested in/voted for this suggestion to check out this mini-project.

I need this so bad!
