Official Spam Thread- Report spam here

This feels like a bot - https://mydramalist.com/profile/8974653

Joined in 2021, no updates until this year and then added every single entry from the site and rated a 10. I know it's not spam, but it's still bot like behavior (for what reason is beyond me). Idk if this is the place for it but I can't report it using the report system since it doesn't show it as a possibility (only send a friend request or block).

This forum is dedicated to reporting spam (bots). You can also report users here to alert the admins, but this does not guarantee that the admins will take any actions against the users. The admins act at their own discretion.

I believe that user meant no harm, as their account appears to be genuine. They may be unaware of the guidelines for making “recommendation”. A warning would suffice in this case

Why did they make 2448 of those then? Look under the Recs tabs and you'll see there's 272 pages worth of bot spam. Posting the same things regardless of what series it's about.

I checked their recs tab on their profile and noticed that they repeated the error of using drama synopses as recommendations. They probably are not familiar with the rules of making “recommendation”. It appears to be a human user, not a bot. You are allowed to recommend the same drama more than once, and the user did that as well as recommending different dramas. However, they all had the same flaw of using synopses instead of recommendations. But they did not use the same synopsis for each drama.

I am familiar with this user, as they had a previous complaint against them, but it was resolved. They committed the same error as the other user I mentioned earlier.
