Ty kseniya, the cycle has indeed flipped along with the peoples opinions nd yep zyz's moral greyness is so interesting coz of how it's rooted in love nd his understanding of emotions. While most if not all the demons we saw became obsessed over x or y at some point, zyz was an anomaly who seemed to be living nd loving the world as an outsider, like someone looking at the colorful world nd the people in it thru a screen, nd thus had neither obsessions nor strong attachments to anything nd specially not his own life, even before he fell into the guilt nd self loathing.
But being one of the DHB, having his found family nd finding love, let him step thru that screen nd be integrated into that same world. It made him actively deal with all the conflicting emotions that came with it. He was no longer a drifting boat in the sea looking around but someone who found his shore.
I was v happy that he got to be on the other side that time, making a difficult choice in risking the life of someone he loves, i believe it was a necessary experience. Nd i love that their greater good didnt exclude each other, it was a culmination of all their choices nd experiences so far. They knew nd loved eo enuf to choose the best outcome they could for each other nd that led to a nice nd hopeful conclusion for all of them, the ones that r alive i mean 🥲
