Throughout the story, some strong characters sacrificed something valuable for another person.That only added a real emotional connect to this drama/novel and the audience/readers. Which characters sacrifice affected you most?

Wei ying sacrificing his golden core for jiang cheng

Lan Wangji sacrificing his sect rules, fame, pride, youth...etc(what not?) everything for/to protect wei ying

Xiao Xing Chen sacrificing his eyes for Song lan

Jiang Yan Li sacrificing her life to protect wei ying

Madam yu sacrificing her life & zidian to protect her son and Lotus pier.

Wen Qing sacrificing her and his brothers life to avoid trouble for Wei ying

Jiang Chengs act of showing himself to wen clan soldiers to protect wei ying

It's difficult to decide because each one of those events showed us how deeply the characters cared for each other. The aftermath of every one of those sacrifices is so painful to think about. ;_;

Yes, it's very hard to choose since what they sacrifice affected me the same.... pain and tears. T___T


But, ngl, I do have some special affection to Jiangcheng since his sacrificial is still not known by weiying (cmiiw), he chose to surrender himself to Wen clan rather than seeing his brother being captured is very depressing (bcs jiangcheng is a softie inside despite his angwy face) T_T I love Jiang siblings so much ueueueue
