Prefers the 2nd version.

I've watched the 1st  b4 2nd came out .  And I prefer the 2nd version more.  Just take this Well Intended Love 2 as  another whole new storyboard on how Lin boss tackle her. Quite entertaining n funny, so far.

I dropped the first after I read about the lie he told to manipulate her, utterly unforgivable. If Season 2 has nothing like that, I will definitely check it out.

I totally agree!!  I mean, I liked the first in that "Well IRL this in unforgivable but I love HanaDan so I'm ok with these kind of relationships in dramaland" kinda way.  But this season is much better!  There's improved character development on the FeiFei and Wen Li plot line too, which I'm really enjoying so far.

In my opinion, I think there won’t be any lies towards Xià Lin on her illness.  This version has changed his ways on how Lin boss approaches her. I think his 1st encounter with her still remains the same(at the cake shop).  His mom just surfaced in ep. 8.
