Romance without the Bit**es

I'm always on the lookout for a good romance, but some days the cattiness of the other women in the drama is too much, so I started a list of romances without bit**es in them. Feel free to recommend a drama.

My collection of romance without the horrid love rival, cruel mother or evil mother-in-law. Some dramas may have a miserable woman or two, but she's not normally one of the mothers, or a love rival, they have significant character development, they play a smaller role, or they don't interfere much with the main couples romance.

Caution! - there's more than just romance on my list, if there's a crime drama or sci-fi with romance that fit the list, I'll include that too, so pay attention to the genre if you're not in the mood for a crime drama.

SPOILER Alert, The synopsis should be safe to read, but my notes below the synopsis are almost guarnteed have spoilers.

I'm not including BLs in the list, half have the horrible current/ex girlfriend and half would fit on the list, but feel free to check out my BL list or other collections

Tae Jung is a lingerie designer who on his spare time goes people watching as research for women's underwear. He's often mistaken for a pervert as is the case when he orders lingerie from  Arum who designs and makes lingerie from home.

    Comedy, Romance

Rewatchable? -  Probably, but I don't like how physically aggressive is in the 1st ep but it's a short, easy to watch web drama.

As the Emperor is approaching death, the only way to enter the palace is if you present both the Sun and Moon Seals. In his greed to obtain the throne, Prince Xian sends his foster daughter, He Lian, to marry General Mu Rong, who possesses the Sun Seal. He Lian tries to outwit the General except he knows why she's been sent.

    Romance, Comedy

Rewatchable? - Yes, don't expect much though, and it's better the second time around. First time through it's disjointed and constantly feels like you've missed something. But it's actually kind of cute.

Because of his young age and looks Judge Jung is called the idol judge, despite his looks he's not confident with women. On his way to work one day he bumps into Ji Hye and her hair gets stuck on Eui Chan’s shirt button. He was about to be annoyed but when he looked into her eyes it was love at first sight.
A short web drama, not much time for character development, and a strange amount of this short show is dedicated to random court cases.

    Comedy, Romance, Law

Rewatchable? - Yes, it's a bit corny at times, but it's light & sweet. Go in with low expectations and you may enjoy it.

Unlucky in love and in need of a holiday Ai Lin & Wen Di switch houses for a week. Ai Lin goes to a beautiful beach side villa, with a handsome mystery man across the street, and Wen Di spends the week in small apartment, helping Ai Lin's brother take pictures for a project.

    Comedy, Romance

Rewatchable? - Not for me, I can understand why people like it, it's corny and sometimes sweet, but to me it comes across as a bad version of 'The Holiday'
