Choi Se Hoon is the head of G.Choi, a chart-topping K-pop entertainment agency with a top-billing roster of star acts. Many think he is blessed with the Midas touch, and he too believes he can make a star out of just about anyone he chooses to. He is rich and successful – but also aloof, arrogant, and conceited. One day, he meets a very unusual individual, Lee Yi Ryung, an innocent and naïve young woman from a humble and conservative countryside family. In almost every way, she is his polar opposite: shy, not brash, and humble, not self-important. He decides to recruit her to become G.Choi’s latest star, but is shocked to discover that she expresses no interest in becoming a K-pop singer. Things get even more complicated when he starts to fall for her – and discovers that winning this young woman’s heart is much harder than manufacturing K-pop success! (Source: Viki) Edit Translation

Reviews
Story: Same old same old- jerk guy falls for the naive country girl despite himself and ruins every chance at the relationship by being a jerk. Nothing new, but I always get sucked in anyway so....
Acting/Cast: Great. I was especially surprised that some of the Kpop stars were as good as they were. It can go either way most times. I wasn't familiar with any of Monsta X's previous acting work (if there is any) so I was happy with how they played the overworked boy band. Such a stretch -_- And Yoon Bora was adorable, no complaints here.
Music: Daebak! There is nothing that gets on my nerves more than when a drama is centered around the dance or music world and the songs are crap. Not the case here! Especially since Monsta X is involved and performed their own music. I downloaded it immediately after I finished the episode it was in.
Rewatch Value: Although i really enjoyed this one I much prefer Noble, My Love as far as rom com webseries, but this was a decent one wrapped in a couple of hours worth of marathoning.
Overall: It wasnt the best, but darn it, it gave me the warm and fuzzies. So if you're in that kind of mood I suggest this and say enjoy!
Good laughs, good laughs... these are rare these days and this show provided me some. The broship going on is also wonderful and funny, you don't feel the need to know their background, there's no rude parenting interruptions or third party's. As for the acting, since this is supposed to be a comedy, the cast is allowed to run it smoothly and whatever would be considered "terrible acting" on serious dramas, is fine in this one. This is my first time watching Il Woo though and I'm completely fallen aback by his skills and charisma. (In the picture below he looks terribly like Park Shin Hye, lol - but in the drama he resembles Lee Jongsuk, I think.)
Perhaps it was the lack of melo that made me enjoy this, I don't know, but I simply loved it! I'm not biased for any of the cast members but I must admit I started this for Monsta X (and got terribly disappointed on that part but.... oh, well.) yet here I stand, in love with the drama. Lee Shieon is amazing and endearing, by the way, pay attention to him.
