Notes:  Too many 1 second clips put together.  Loved the dancing & wanted to have camera stay focused on a dance.  The wax figures were interesting, odd & unsettling all at the same time.  The coach dancing was a surprise.  Same story formula as many dance movies, but still enjoyable.  Enjoyed the dancing.

Ending - ML completes the 1 elbow handstand twirl & makes an exclamation in the air (a new move) that wins them the national trophy.

Notes:  Almost all in English. Korean ML & Filipino FL so conversated in English.  Couldn't understand why he needed her English skills since he was proficient.  Actors' English was pretty good.  What did FL's dad do to ML's family?

Ending - FL's dad makes amends to ML for his past mistakes. ML asks FL to marry him.  She says no, but they figure it all out at park.

Notes:  Life Gives You Tangerines vibes.  Need lots of tissues, super sad & I super cried.  Didn't think adult ML matched young ML.  Others did.  Don't think she committed suicide because she planned on giving ML the tape she made.  ML2 holding onto tape is debatable as to a good thing or not.  D.O. never disappoints.  He was fantastic.  "Dust in the Wind" & "Take on Me" songs used...loved.

Ending -  The group of friends gathered at FL's grave to make wish of reuniting at age 40 happen.

Notes:  Survival show from a different angle.  I cried a lot as this show was very emotional.  18,922 applicants...wow.  Liked that the 3 group members are picking & are solely responsible for the whole process.  Their involvement was soo heartwarming. Less focus on music more on contestants/process.  Kikuchi Fuma a born leader & that scary look on his face probably would make the devil dance.  Enjoyed the songs.   Felt like the singing voices of contestants not as strong as in a traditional survival show.  

Ending - 2 spots turned into 5 spots.  Probably would have switched Inomata Shuto with Hamagawa Roi, but all other new members made sense.  Hashimoto Masaki (shy guy) & his opposite Hara Yoshitaka were my favs to pull for.  Funny thing, to me, was that Teranishi Takuto looked like he was an original member not a newbie.

Notes:  Liked that it was short.  FL's surprise eyes a bit ugly/overstated.  FL gets her faced changed, but I thought not for the better which bothered me.  Her previous self aka different actress was prettier.  Serial killer actress very memorable with her smiling self vs irritated killer self. Cops not identifying serial killer seemed unrealistic & father perpetuating her craziness was perplexing. Also didn't get why Makoto stayed /loved serial killer when he knew how evil she is.  Baby in pink bunny PJs adorable.  Music was interesting.

Ending - Serial killer's husband steps in front of her as she tries to stab FL to kill her but ultimately kills her husband who she loves.  Serial killer in jail, daughter w/FL.  Daughter shows signs she is just like her mom.

Notes:  Well written.  Eyes teared up a lot through out.  Acting was very good.  IU played 2 characters & she did a really good job at making them feel different.  Park Bo Gum needed more screen time.  His crying scene when child dies a bit over the top, but his reaction to learning FL set up w/divorced guy my fav scene in whole drama.  The ready go scene a close 2nd.  Loved the tid bits of humor eg.  like getting caught running in a crowd of fans, but there were only a couple scenes...more would have been better.  Didn't recognize scruffy Kim Seon Ho, but him getting the girl healed SLS from Start-Up.  Wasn't sold on actor for adult ML/ it was hard to connect him w/Park Bo Geum.  The maid was a fun surprise...she is....  There were many characters that seemed to eat up screen time but added nothing to story.  Wanted more Park Bo Gum.  Enjoyed daughter narrating the story & the FL adult actress (more than IU).  The female centricness was a bit too heavy handed for my taste.  

---5 or so pressed lip kisses from leads.  Son gets kissed on a light pole. All kisses were just drama forced looking pressed lips kisses.

Ending - Leads live to old age.  ML dies well before FL.  FL gets her poetry published by woman who looks like FL's mom reincarnated.  Son a franchise owner & daughter successful both with kids of their own.

Notes:  corky, oddball movie.  Had a few CGI moments (wedding imagination, galaxy, & tornado).  The ML looked too old for the FL.  There is a 16 year age gap between the actors which was a bit bothersome.  

--- 2 kisses.  1 both laying on ground & they kiss upside down w/munchies.  It was well done/better than a lot of other drama kisses.  2nd felt a bit like me thinking no I am not on bored with this.

Ending - Bad childhood girl who cursed ML in elementary school happy/in love w/ML's business partner.  ML & FL running away from a tornado as they announce their marriage.  ML2 asks audience if anyone wants to be a Cinderella.  Hot Pot Girls girl group successful.

Notes:  Well written.  FL very pretty and acting was enjoyable to watch.  Lots of surprises:  Bunny costume was business owner so no one would see him cry from break up & he wasn't stalking FL.  All ML's lied.  Florist not ex but felt guilty about FL's accident.  Business owner was FL's ex, but he lied to get 2nd chance.  Co-worker lied he was FL's friend to get closer to FL.  Florist seemed too cold/non emotional.  My pick was co-worker.  Even though a bit stalkerish, he seemed a bit more playful which I felt FL needed.  I did respect FL's choice because I saw her feelings for florist.

--- 2 kisses with Business owner no heat. 3 kisses w/florist.  Kiss w/florist involved sharing a flower mouth to mouth...kinda hot & warm.  Enjoyable to see.

Ending -  FL gains all her memories.  She fell down stairs looking at cherry tree.  She overimagined the stalker due to her personality.  Ring was made for florist who had originally turned her down.  They hug they tell each other they love.

Notes:  ML actor still very alluring w/his eyes.  Story not profound enough / season 1 better.  Villain needed more backstory.  Also not sure if actor or poor script was reason for me not to connecting w/villain.  Were the childhood friends lovers?  Loved Errand boy & bad ass protector boy actors/characters.  Favorite scene when Hu Min roughed up Si Eun's hair petting him.  Delighted to see Yoo Soo Bin acting in this.  He totally rocked the gold chain.

Ending - The union is dismantled as the villain is defeated in the final showdown fight.  Credits roll then a break in the middle for bonus footage:  Villian (Beak Jin's) funeral where all 4 ML's attend & cry.  Bowling alley owner reaches out to Seong Je to become new leader.  Season 3?

Notes:  Well written/not my cup of tea.  Surprises abound.  1- two SOBs looked alike - that was on purpose for identity theft story arc.  2- Chinese guy had partner kill the dad 3- dad lived but was tossed off bridge 4- Acupuncturist Dr married/having affair 5- dad killer was the teen rapist.  No surprise con artist girl, DR had organ harvest side job. 

Ending - Acupuncturist, dad, Chinese gang guy, & debtor killed by killer, con lady killed by acupuncturist.  Dr w/ teen trauma skipped killing her attacker & her co-worker killed him/harvested his organs. He gets a watch upon retirement.  Same watch as dad who gets killed.

Notes:  Actors, characters & story likeable.  Goddess's daughter actress's acting was very weird. Loved ML's cornrolled w/red ribbon hair.  Spoiled princess unlikable at 1st, but that got better.  Who loved whom was a bit confusing.  Emotions seemed all over the place (like goofy warrior guy crying for goddess when he liked spoiled princess girl).  Bickering couple cute sometimes, forced other times.  ML & ML2 shared screen time equally but ML2 seemed like ML.  Controlled warrior's mom story too much screen time.  The 2 MC's kept saying it was a misunderstanding...over & over.  Tell them already!  CGI super hokie.

--- 2 good kisses with controlled warrior & demon girl.  No kissing w/bickering couple.

Ending - Devil defeated by goofy warrior by giving up all his memories.  15 merges w/ Xuan-Yuan sword (cute surprise - 15 was a missing part of that sword & picked goofy warrior because he knew him to be his real owner).  Demon FL & spoiled princess die. Time reverts back to original reality- unaltered by devil. Goddess daughter returns to mortal realm & unfreezes earthly emperor. ML waiting for demon lover& has his young son by his side.  Spoiled princess playing her flute when goddess girl & goofy warrior see her.

Notes:  The Boys are not hot...but endearing.  Young teacher was a bit too handsy w/ the ML character, felt a little icky.  Why were the gang boys causing all the trouble not addressed?  No romance & no kissing.  Great motivational messages/ speeches.  Loved when the FL said to her mom like mother like daughter showing her respect for her mom.

Ending - Jab goes to jail for 2 years because he turned 18.  The boys won honorable mention / got a medal in competition. The team gathers to toss snowballs at the ML on his release from prison.

Notes:  Cliches everywhere but kissing & ML w/his shirt off (in almost every scene) was mesmerizing.  FL was the aggressor which was interesting.  The chemistry between those 2 actors is amazing/looks so real.  The scene where they take turns biting each other's necks in frustration or dominance was heart fluttering.  Rival male wanting to marry FL didn't make sense..she was already married to ML right?  Music was really good/elevated story.

---FL pulls ML's head to her lips.  Too many kisses to count. All munching, I am going to swallow your face & explore your whole mouth w/my tongue.

Ending - ML asks FL to marry him at boxing match he won.  Final scene their wedding.

Notes:  True stories from the comedians themselves.  A few moments that made me smile, but not humorous.  It gave me Dean Martin Jerry Lee Lewis vibes.

Notes:  Hidden Gem.  Very naughty humor.  Giggled every time they showed the lab company's logo.  Loved the sex scene that was really them exercising + using stunt doubles.  Felt like ML & his doppelgänger could have been more different.  At times felt like her male assistant or ML's doppelgänger would be a better love interest or rival....but writers always kept them platonic.

---1st kiss sneeze to lips on lips between FL & her assistant.  2nd ML pulls her to him on couch for a reciprocating munching kiss. 

Eding - ML dies?  Trapped in erupting volcano w/time travel device.  FL & alt universe ML disappear after struck by lightning.  FL in new alt universe of ladies only.  Her & her doppelgänger run into each other.  Is she still pregnant?  T-shirt she is wearing doesn't give clues.

Notes:  Wasn't a fan of any of the actors except young detective & idiot rich son & the white long haired blue eyed cat.

Ending - Leads got away w/the gold, pinned the theft on competing thieves, donated artifacts back to Korea making it seem like son's doing, & Alzheimer dad in hospice care.  Thief daughter in climbing competition & detective awarded for catching thieves. George a famous fashion designer.

(Amazon Prime)        Total Time:  1 hrs 40 min

Notes:  Chemistry was okay, but acting wasn't the best.  This movie pieced together from drama scenes didn't seem to be missing content.  FL's face not very expressive which I didn't care for.  This version we find out at the very end ML's friend wanted their girl BFF to himself so pushed FL into the road & hired the killer due to his jealousy.  No surprise.  Movie is 20 min longer than drama.

Ending - Leads dating & doing the "50 First Dates" plan...watch video together 1x per month. As credits role ML tells camera the above info then turns to FL & says "Do you want to make a baby?"

Notes:  Good friendship theme w/only a few made me smile moments.  The string music was enjoyable & the theme song at end of every episode sung by leads was likable.  Alice, loved to hate her. (her ending when she returns to concert w/hot guy & wealthy was funny.  Surprised by Maiki's 3rd identity/past life.

Notes:  Angst, I savored.  Details of story muddled at beginning & short scenes hurt flow.  Loved the leads individually & together.  ML "50 Shades of Grey" kinda guy.  Stalker, possessive & obsessive. Makes a copy of FL's key, speaks for her saying no visit w/alum & tells her he will go easier on her next time in bed.  

---LOTS of steamy kissing w/munchies from both actors.  ML very horny & handsy.

Ending:    No one goes to jail...????...Villainous Stepsister & FL's love rival, attempted 2x date raper, FL's stepmom all needed to go.  ML proposes to FL with help of both families/friends.  Baby alive, but risky pregnancy.

Notes:  Multiple ghost cases.  Likable humor, actors & characters.  Horror make-up pretty serious looking but toned-down w/Thai humor.  Knew uncle was bad from the start.  Aunt as black magic supporter was a surprise.  Lots of English...loved the English cursing & ML's American sports outfits (Home Depot-Tony Stewart, Home Alone, & Basketball Jersey) The gay males dancing was beautiful looking. ML's bodyguard funny, especially w/sunglasses under sunglasses.

---No Romance...Bromance

Ending - ML's Uncle turned himself in for killing grandpa & the Aunt was arrested.  The 4 friends decided to stay together /live at the bar.

Notes:  Multiple cases that were interesting.  Hint of romance...maybe?  Wanted ML to be a bit more corky...he sort of went there w/hiding from clients, avoiding work, roped others into cleaning shrine, & discussing grandma vs grandpa's food stand, but I wanted a bit more.  FL reminded me of an Asian Velma from "Scooby-Doo."  Dolls, Ghost/dead painter, Kidnaped rich girl, stolen silver mirror, pickpocket lady, runaway lesbian, over order of box lunches, the grandson heir, etc.  It seemed like the fake grandson heir had plans for FL, especially since he knew her secret?  He looked back at her as he left....  (Sequel where he tries to steal her from ML for his own purposes?)  Video quality - characters randomly glitched (like a supernatural CGI effect)

---No romance - more a respected admiration for each other

Ending - Many successful cases solved w/referrals now coming in, clean office, & leads happy to be working together.  Final scene leads wearing matching scarfs (deer & horse sewed in..Japanese for idiot?)

Notes:  Frustrated because story needed more detail/development. Execution of timelines skillfully done.  Martial arts fighting by FL very believable & she really took the lead & ML was more a side kick.  Both actors very good looking.  Surprised....ML not real, then he is real but has memory issues. The prisoner tossing his bread into the cell w/the Prince was funny. Loved the fireflies on the dock & in the bamboo forest.  Music was enjoyable/noticeable.

--- 3 kiss scenes.  FL kisses ML first quickly then he returns the kiss w/a 2nd lips on lips.  Others same lips on lips.  Chemistry felt, especially from FL.

Ending - Fake ML disappears.  FL continues to remember him.  The real prince shows up but he loses his memories each day (50 First Dates), so he keeps a notes collection of his time w/ FL.  Eventually he warms up to her.

Dear Devil Brother - Vietnam (2019)

Notes:  Just as good as Korean version maybe better?  Cried my eyes out.  The humor was very enjoyable.  The dance scene seemed out of place.  Bloopers shown as credits rolled.  Loved the ML farting into the crack at bottom of door to get brother out.

Ending - Blind brother wins paraolympic tournament.  Older brother dies but younger brother now has a good life.

Notes:  Well done, but not my cup of tea.  ML too hot for FL.  Liked the FL because she was corky & her BF who reminded me of comedian Fortune Feimster.  Flashbacks to 2nd grade were cute.  Bickering humor on the edge of being funny (ear pulling).  Liked the riddles & the horror surprised me. FL2 villain as crazy was immersive.  All the kids acting/characters not enjoyable/relatable.  Squad characters were fun, but older characters not.  Appreciated the confusion of ML's team leader being corrupt.  Did like the paper airplane scene a lot. Fighting scenes were okay.  Music not memorable except the one song that had an older vibe to it. PPL -Quiznos in Subway out?

Ending - No surprises.   Villain director killed dad 22 years ago. Villain director in jail. Gold stashed in ML's childhood home.  FF5 years - Team leader new NCIS boss, prior one corrupt/killed.  Team agents dating & pregnant.  FL a full-time teacher & ML is a homeroom teacher. Villains daughter dropped out of school & paints.  Bullied heavy kid a successful story writer.

Notes:  ML's charisma not enough.  Theme of egotistical good guy to create humor done better w/other actors/dramas.  FL did not deserve ML..."Just your existence disgusts me" is what FL says to ML.  Couldn't understand FL's pain from being lied to about ML's age (selfish).  The leads' bickering did not feel funny or cute, what a missed opprtunity.  ML's Grandma a piece of work...telling ML he is responsible/at fault for his parent's accidental car crash on top of mental abuse.  FL 2 interesting....a recent divorcee who asked ML2 to sleep w/her. So many dramas husband cheats but doesn't tell family..WHY...so parents blame them & harass them to remarry.

--- Couple 2:  FL2 kisses ML2 first.  Leads:  ML pulls FL's arm to him to kiss her.  No response then FL returns the kiss.  2 or 3 more scenes with munchies that were pretty good.

Ending - Grandma apologizes to grandson.  FL's dad had been purchasing stock from FL's company for years so now he was comfortable moneywise.  Both couples happy in love dating.  ML2 quit company to work w/FL2 at Sulo, her restaurant.

Notes:  Put off watching because thought it would be boring....wow very endearing characters.  Cried a lot.  Actors used to play ML were phenomenal!!!!  Thought real disabled people used.  Mom unconventional but gave me "The Blind Side" vibes.  Highly appreciated that the 3 actors used to show ML @ different ages meshed well, looking like same person.

Notes:  Low budget gem.  FL very likable.  FL's BFF annoying!  5 guys not my cup of tea, but all were handsome.  CEO, Dr, Bad Guy, Pop Idol, & Brother.  Wasn't sure if FL was supposed to marry all or just 1?  Torn between Dr, & Bad guy. Costumes very overdone.  Needed more time for story development.  Version I watched couldn't get masculine/feminine pronouns correct.  Eg. him/her mixed up.

--- FL kissed by 3 of the guys.  Nothing steamy.

Ending - FL gives her power to her brother.  Dr dies by sacrificing himself for FL when aunt uses her trident.  Brother gives Dr his power so he can reincarnate.  FL runs away to human world at prospect of her wedding.

Notes:  Scenes closely match "Go Ahead." but visually & emotionally brighter. Not as emotionally deep as original.  Glad I watched original 1st...it seemed like it had pieces of the story Korean version was missing. Liked FL, ML's stepsister (not a brat) & ML2 (innocent/cute) better.  ML2 shirt off scene...oh boy! ML2 not in love w/FL so not a rival w/ML.  Just wished we saw a bit more chemistry w/leads prior to ML going to Seoul w/his mom.  ML liking FL was news to me.  FL mad that boys leaving (at college age) seems petty/unrealistic.  ML's mom actress played mentally ill/evil mom very well.  Music was good.

--- ML lightly grabs FL's face & kisses FL in tunnel after taking shelter from rain.  3 or4 more kisses.  The munchies & heat increase w/each scene.  

Ending - FL's dad marries ML2's mom.  ML & FL a couple & slept together night before dad/mom's wedding.  ML2 dating FL's BFF.

Notes:  ML gave me the creeps at times with his toxic stalking at beginning, luckily was toned down as drama played.  NAF of bitchy/ nosey sister or FL's overbearing parents.  3 almost couldn't stop laughing scenes, but drama dragged.  ML saying he wanted to pee was code for I'm aroused by hugging you? I think yes. What was that carrot scene? FL killed off her fake people in front of ML which may seem cruel?  ML forgave FL pretty quickly which seemed unrealistic.  FL totally smitten then abrupt I am not into you change seemed outlandish. Liked the actress that played the pretty FL. Message of "love yourself as you are" is strong. 2 fantastic songs.

--- 1st kiss FL on ML's cheek 2x.  6 Additional kisses w/some okay munching.  2nd couple also 1 kiss scene w/pretty good munching.

Ending:  Leads wedding.  2nd couple pregnant.  Pregnant female decides last minute to keep kid even though her 1st thought was she wanted career/no kids. The # of people giving their 2 cents/getting involved w/ this issue was angering.

Notes:  ML looks like he is acting.  Wasn't feeling the chemistry but still thought drama cute. Segments a bit too choppy making storyline not flow well.  Loved the fluffy kitten at front door. Merman tail costume & blood scene very low budget looking.  

--- 2 Kisses:  ML touches lips with FL.  FL eyes closed & nonresponsive.

Ending - ML & FL run away from crazy ocean biologist.  Merman returns to water * FL sends him messages in a bottle.  Last scene he has returned & is in her tub, they kiss.

Notes:  Felt like a chore to watch.  ML presented like a ML2 & ML2 presented like ML.  FL's facial tics totally distracting.  FL's character was selfish, self-absorbed & mean & at times I wondered if she had Asseburgers syndrome. The story did make you wonder who FL would choose up til the very end. ML2's mom slaps FL on the face & says "I never liked you from the start"..yay mom! Support female had 3 suitors which was nice.  Loved ML2's character!  Yoo Ah In made a guest appearance (loved!).  

--- 1st kiss: ML2 kisses FL with lots of munchies on a guard rail.  Many more kisses FL w/ML + ML2.  Also FL's BFF w/ their roommate BFF

Ending - FL dumps both guys & after a year chooses her first ex.  (glad because they are both bad people).  ML goes to volunteer abroad & runs into his Orphanage girl pseudo sister. (loved him, he deserved sooo much better than FL).  FL's BFF's dating/in love.

Extremely Inappropriate!

Notes:  Out of the box cultural growth lessons.  Lots of cringe w/grandpa + granddaughter romance which fortunately was halted early (sooo creepy).  Also cringe music/dance scenes, but on their own enjoyable.  Female saying she couldn't spare the time because she was trying to have a kid & then turning mgr in for harassment made my blood boil! What a self-centered bitch.....make time...4 options wasn't enough?  The surprises kept coming.  HS girl married none of the guys we knew, but a rando...my dream plot realized.  Smirky smile moments throughout & most likely lots I missed because I am not Japanese or familiar w/their culture.

Ending - Mutchy's grandson & ML's granddaughter end up together...soooo hoped for that from beginning.  Sequel planned? Final scene ML entering worm hole to time travel w/his scientist ex-student.  ML's involvement in past changed present so how is future changed?  

A happy ending - alternate ending? everyone alive.  Leads married w/son.  Wedding kiss pretty hot!  Camera angle's were tight to lips/faces, just like in series, but even more pronounced.

Notes:  ML actor acting as father & son was really good.  ML as father soo hot!!!  Wasn't a fan of side character love stories except ML's parents.  ML2's story basically disappeared.  Mysteries easily decipherable except who killer was.  The leader is a bad guy, the cloaked mystery man is ML's dad.  I cried upon ML/FL's death.  The amount of blood spiting up scenes was embarrassing. In novel author changed FL to end up w/ Yu Mo.

Ending - ML kills himself to save the 3 realms & FL kills herself immediately after.  Their spirts comingle together floating as a yellow ball w/ a pink tip creating a dew drop shape.  Final scene is their primordial spirits landing in/on the incense burner ML carved/gave to FL that can't be destructed.

Notes:   Leads did not grab me right away.  ML / FL romance scenes were minimal.  ML2 seemed creepy at 1st & looked much older than FL.  Liked him more when he was in mortal realm w/ FL & they were acting stuff together.    I might have picked a different actor & made him more endearing. The way villain fairy could switch from bitch face to innocent cutie was very skillful.  Many side characters added nothing.  Enjoyed the general's voice, unique.  CGI / cinematography very beautiful. Only loved the theme song.

You shouldn't have to work that hard for love.  ML constantly disappointed & irritated by FL.  What was w/ ML measuring lady's breasts.  Fun chemistry in the bickering, but no heat in the romance.  FL actress does deliver a very different/corky character. Loved the 2nd couples matching outfit obsession - pics of each other's face, hearts, & busy yellow patterned tops/bottoms.

Notes:  FL same old idiot with no boundaries & totally self-absorbed, however the actress is alluring with her facial expressions & beauty.  FL Character reminds me of Nodame Cantibile   Age gap noticeable especially since FL acts like a 2 year old....kissing doesn't result in pregnancy.  The dialogue is faster pace & fuller than most which I appreciated.

---1st kiss - ML kisses FL while asleep in a chair he made (hair covers kiss so it is inferred).  They were strangers.  2nd kiss - ML grabs FLs face and they touch lips.

Ending - FL's boyfriend breaks up w/her after a short time living together.  FL lives alone for about a month then returns to the ML's parents house to cohabitate w/ML.

Ending - ML gives ML2 his alchemy to hold off hell fire from demon.  ML takes demon to hell.  Reincarnated mortal ML drinks sober demon drink at ML2's bar & remembers his past life w/his immortal dragon friend.

Notes:  Hyper focus on main couple w/little else in the way of a story.  FL beautiful, but her attitude was not likable.  Chemistry seemed lackluster.  Mix of side characters that added value & those that were a waste of screen time.  Loved Na In Woo on the dance game & his fat character portrayal.  FL smitten w/his fat character was endearing.  Scenes w/the kids fun.  Kiss inside the bomber jacket cute.  FL's boss was her dad's chemo mate...small world.  Music a mixed bag too.  Gave me "Go Head" drama vibes.

---1st kiss ML pulls FLs face to his & mouth on mouth kiss.  2nd same but not as good & several peck kisses.  All lacked chemistry,

Ending - Orphan adopted by FL's dad + getting his GED being tutored by new girlfriend/childhood friend.  Ex stockbroker confesses to vet tech.  FL will turn motel into nursing home. FL's teddy bear helped foil a "Thema & Louise" plan of ML's mom, FL didn't kill FL's mom + ML's dad.

Notes:  Wanted a serious drama, but it got weird in places like the skins/body part fashion show.  Liked the real pics of the different towns and the large barren tree in the snowy field.  FL expecting ML not to kill when he is being attacked to be killed seems absurd.  Wasn't a fan of the huge chunk of footage dedicated to food.  

Ending -  Shows part one so there will be a part 2. Fortune teller says 1 will betray them killing FL.  Team headed to prison to see FL's dad.

Notes:  ML showed good acting chops, wished he had pushed his corkiness a bit further, but his martial arts was amazingly good.  Used the "High&Low" series format (graffiti backgrounds, overabundance of characters who all got introduced.  Mysteries 1) why smart teacher chose school 2) how did the 1 student know all about villain student 3) who is the male teaching ML his skills 4) Why does someone who studies that much fail? Supercharged fighting w/out supernatural theme a bit odd to me.  Loved the rap music (backpacker).

Ending - Hint:  Villain student's dad tells lawyer to fix the arrest.  Murdered teacher's son eyeballing student who got no jail time & get's a text message saying he is to be intern at killer's dad's company.  Villain says try to change the school" as he is loaded into police car.  All kids in 10th grade so 2 years to go.  After credits teacher puts resignation letter on desk.

Notes:  ML acting very good.  Side characters no depth or story so how they connected w/ML fell flat.  Liked the angel artwork & the ML's self-portrait.  Backside nude scene where the two boy art students draw themselves was odd.  Loved the supportive parents especially w/their matching good luck charms.  Music was very good.

Ending - ML gets into selective art college.  3 other students did not & cross dresser quit on day 1.

Ending - FL disappears...but ML at movies & all of a sudden she is there looking at him a couple seats away with him unaware.

Notes:  Clever, interesting & no love triangles.  Too much, crying, seriousness, & sadness.  Needed more rom-com.  No chemistry w/leads.  Bickering admins had lots of chemistry.  ML's grandma too much screentime & not likable.  Surprised she was mean to chase away grandson as a goodwill gesture.  Adult ML actor felt like cardboard, but good crying scenes.  No surprise hotshot admin's client was his mom (disliked mom actress overacting).  Loved young hot shot's hair old (white/gray) & young (slick w/point in front).  ML never defeats killer in the loop why? Liked that they tossed in 1 girl death we did not know about to solidify he was crazy. CGI well done/ enjoyable.  

--- Leads 2 kisses: in both, lips barely touch & show no chemistry at all.  1st ML pulls FL to him & they touch lips a good full min. 2nd they approach each other.  

Ending - Killer dies & reincarnated as cockroach.  FL goes to dimension 3 for parents, ML sees 360 rainbow.  As credits roll ML is hotshot admin & FL is his client so he trips her. (Found this ML version appealing & shows story could have been executed differently/more to my liking).  After credits young ML sees FL on bus & picks up her dropped keychain.  He tucks it in her backpack secretly. 

Would love to see another country do a different version/different interpretation of this drama.  A total diamond in the rough.

Ending - The ending was adorable.  Each guy had seen Eunji w/a member & sent her a gift on their friends' behalf.  She rejected them all.

Unfortunately, ML2 never gets the mental help he needs & FL still needs a man in her life to support her mentally.  FL taller than ML.

--- One kiss at end.  Lips barely touch.  ML reaches to FL's face.  

Ending - FL employed at cosmetics company, FL's bro going to art school w/parents' approval & FL asks Eve to be her boyfriend.

Yuk & JeongSu total red flag behaviors.  Couldn't they pick to be single at end???  Disliked SiAn + Yuk & JiYeon + Kim Tewan.    Arim + Jonghoon live in same town so that seems promising.  The panel emcees my favorite part of show.

Really enjoyed the humor.  ML's online name was Rain...too funny & a total give away as to who he is.

---1st Kiss - end ep 1.  ML initiates at office while FL sitting in office chair.  She didn't resist. About 4 or 5 more lackluster kisses.  Last one FL initiates.

Notes:  Stunning lake scenery.  Comraderie was good.  Lee Dong Hwi could have been replaced he didn't seem motivated to be part of the team.  Kwak Dong Yeon was my fav.  He cooked, spoke English, & made me laugh sooo hard.  The whole light bulb issue & his hair.  A few moments looked scripted & the last house they shared w/family, felt awkward since only 1 man & 3 woman filmed. Cha Eun Woo with rolled sleeves made my heart skip a beat. Very food focused.  Almost all the music was American & very enjoyable.

Notes:  The fighting was good the acting from the young American boy & girl not my favorite.  Monkey king only a portion of story. Michael Angarano not in MDL.

Sparrow girl dies.  American boy returns home to old guy in video store & defeats bullies.  Old guy's gunshot wound not fatal.  Sparrow girl is across the street.

Notes:  FL arrogance made her unlikable most of the time, only cute when w/town crazy girl (who was the stand out in this drama).  Wanted to see her become friendly, but she stayed arrogant, pious, selfish & bitchy all the way thru (she learned to say please & thank you, sooo what).  FL kicks doghouse/her dog aggression pissed me off.  ML's okayness w/her attitude made me mad.  ML has a great body, first scene him stripping down to black athletic boxers. Storyline still one of my favs, but this couple pairing lacked that bickering magic I craved. The husband wasn't a cheating playboy money grubber like movie which was an interesting difference. Hard to beat Goldie Hawn's rendition. Got Taiwanese "You're My Destiny" vibes from ML....leaving FL for girl he was crushing on. A few funny moments:  ML dragging FL down street by neck & into the house.  Music grew on me...a bit unique.

ML's rival was the better man however he deserved better than FL.  Yoo Jung Hoo's smile is a bit creepy. ML w/shirt off doing pull ups in front of window hot!  Loved the red bamboo, wood basket, & bldg corner TV screen shots.  FL20's voice was super pretty.  FL 20 did not quite fit w/model like group members.  The dancing was pretty to watch. Twin sister story arc confusing - Janet, Emily, Kkeet Soon all the same?  ML's relationship w/Emily & preg test?  Why Emily2 in phone...ahh he realized she wasn't his Emily.

---1 double kiss.  ML pulls FL20's face to him.  They rest lips.  Then ML leans into her lips. They rest lips w/ML looking like he will do 1 munchie. FL pulls away after a 1/2 min

Notes:  Very well done, but genre of horror is not my cup of tea.  Kim Go Eun chanting/dancing & Lee Do Hyun drumming were the highlights for me.  Cinematography was good.  Not familiar with Korean culture, but this seemed to take a resentful jab at the Japanese. ???

Ending -  All the leads lived, but suffered some PTSD from it.  Sequel?  Wildly popular so I might put a wager on it.  If KGE, LDH, & YHJ return I'm in.

Notes:  Couldn't stop binge watching.  Spent a lot of time pondering who loved who & trying to guess what emotions were being shown for whom.  FL who I liked immediately became someone I hated.  FL2 was a total bitch.  So ji Sub's character dull (not well acted) & Zo In Sung character to over the top (but amazingly acted).  All characters were completely selfish & couldn't release themselves from 2 people in their heart.  Each character kept showing feelings that kept flip flopping.  FL's struggle w/not being allowed to love ML for many reasons could be why she kept changing her mind?  FL sleeps with playboy & then ML2 much later. They all say they love...but is it really love?  ML & FL2 only know possession, ML2 never believes in/hears FL, FL not able to emotionally support /choose a partner.

---1st kiss playboy forces on FL, 2nd quiet rival guy initiates but she's okay w/it (looks good on camera).  Quiet guy plants another kiss later on.

Ending -  Knew something bad happens due to dramas popularity however didn't know what.  Thought FL might commit suicide when she started buttoning up her affairs.  In the end FL & ML2 go to Bali.  ML follows them, kills them & then himself after FL tells him she loves him as she is dying.  She was going to return to him which he hears, but kills her anyway. (ML totally mad/blinded after seeing her/rival together & can't see that his informant got her story wrong?)

Ending -  FL escaped w/help of the Boss's Right-hand man.  FL then helped take down crime ring w/insider ML.  ML get's job w/police cyber division.  Gambling addict commits suicide. As credits role real footage & interviews w/victims.

Ending - ML wins FL back at reunion.  Final scene FL dancing to win washing machine.

Ending - FL goes to Shanghai for 6 years & returns for her dad's funeral.  ML runs into her & seeks her out & helps her out.  Love blooms again.  FL quits her job & returns to ML for life.  ML in debt.  Final scene my fav because shows ML in rom-com style.  FL bought restaurant statue for their home...which they don't have yet.

Notes:  Chemistry humorous but felt relationship toxic.  FL character had very little impulse control, carries a doll around, & uses sock puppets to express her immature feelings.  ML likes FL alot sooner in this version.  Park Bo Gum's acting amazing, but character not as likable as I wished for.  His face / cry when hand hurt & his personality change superior skills.  Humor strong in 1st episode then lightly sprinkled throughout.

Notes:  This was a total waste of time & money.  Actors were not good.  Set looked like the walking dead.  The CGI especially on ML flying was horrendous.  ML could fall onto buildings w/no injury, but a baseball bat was like kryptonite?  The Director was the only character that seemed interesting.

Ending - ML quietly goes to jail & 4 years later is out.  Neighborhood is a vacant lot & business owners in a new location. Lawyer to marry FL.

Notes:  Drew me in w/cleverness, humor, originality & chemistry.  FL showed great acting skills for this level of drama.  Wasn't a fan of ML or FL2 actors.  ML2 wasn't utilized as best as they could.  FL character smart & her character is the serial cast evil FL2 who accidently is cast as FL.  Twist is FL ends up as FL2.  ML2 has no love story & only exists for revenge, but FL ends up liking him.  Why was she able to pop in & out of roles, but others not?  Why she kept her bad girl personality & not get soft kind personality of FL? If FL & ML2 fall in love ML2 will disappear completely.

---1st kiss FL tackles ML for a kiss to make her heart disease subside.  Tons of kissing after that.  Last kiss good munching both actors.

Ending - FL2 tossed in jail.  FL tries to act out original story ending (ML2 kills FL at leads wedding) so ML can reset. However ML (aka ML2) turns knife around & kills himself...he fades away.  Story starts again w/both actors.  She runs to him & he pretends to not know her...but not for long.

Notes:  Bizarre & fascinating.  Married in real life...I can see why great chemistry.  ML exceptional acting.  Sooo many questions...was 2nd rape attempt real?  Was she actually raped?  Did she have sex w/ML? Did FL want ML to kill stalker?  Why not go to cops...stalker committed suicide...why did friend have to hide knife? Every guy (including her guy friend) pinned her down sexually.  Very toxic relationship that leads believed to be love.  Leads' behaviors reminded me of street dogs.   Fire dance /the gods storyline lost on me.

Ending - Leads break up.  FL leaves & becomes a star.  They show her filming a scene, but she is envisioning her townie guy.

Notes:  This hasn't aged well.  Two scenes showing a male try to drug a female to get what he wants.  Didn't find this funny.  Grossed out by FL w/old face student (who is an old guy actor). There was a kiss w/them...yuckkkkk.  FL interesting in the fact she just smiled & passively let all the issues go.  Music was very good.  The dance # w/her and 3 students was good.

Ending - as we saw (missing 10 min of footage).  Playboy messing w/a hot teacher, old faced guy a superstar, & date raper at it again w/no success.

Notes:  The original is perfection so watching this confirmed this couldn't even come close to it.  Hard to figure out who was Anne Hathaway & Kate Hudson for a bit.  Basic story the same but details were changed. Scenes didn't flow together well.

Notes:   The dancing, the friendships, the characters (all so different), subtle humor, very little angst & no love triangle bullshit only a well-placed hint of a triangle.  Loved the dog leading the charge for getting the girls running.  Loved the hip hop grunge look on the lead girls.  All the girls styled in a less sexualized way, it made me feel good.  Tossing the girl up in the air like a real cheer squad at the end a bit far fetched.

Ending - Boys win their last soccer game.  FL goes to Seoul & passes the audition, but she returns to the cheer team.  During credit roll 3 lead girls buy tickets to Seoul & ML has missed his chance to confess his love at the bus depot again.

Notes:  {English Dubbed}   Story lackluster.  Needed a stronger bromance storyline.  Mr.  Ma only good thing about movie.  Did like fight where ML2 egged ML to fight, but got knocked out immediately.  ML asked ML2 what sport as an athlete did he play.  ML2 replies Ping Pong.  Mr. Ma had 3 colors of hair, Red, then black, then gray.

Ending - Both leads arrested.  In jail 4 years?  Dr is scouted for another non-legit practice & buddy shows up.  Final scene them walking down street with Mr. Ma asking Dr. to be part of a new scheme.

Notes:   Surprisingly realistic depiction of relationship emotions/events. The ML is sooo obsessed w/ FL.  Wanted to believe he could grow up, but as FL said he needs fixing.  Leads have 2 make out scenes & 1 bed scene that looked very good.  The kissing was voracious.  Kinda mad at FL for sleeping w/ML when she has a fiancee & knows full well her ex is a bit psycho...but then again closure can be messy especially if love isn't the relationship issue.  Real life couple & break up.

Ending - FL goes back to New York single.

Notes:   This one featured Ohki, who I like even more now.  The actor's portrayal of this character is phenomenal! Ohki seemed confident so I truly thought he would defeat the war general.  Some of the unimportant scenes were a bit too long.  The horse-riding scene with Ohki & Shin is eye candy for gay men everywhere.  Liked the weapons too.

Ending - Bito dies, Ohki dies.  Men return home having saved their city, but at a cost.  They were outnumbered & out strategized. Movie 5?

Notes:  The FL was hard to like due to her immaturity & selfishness.  She seemed like a spoiled brat, but why such a closet bitch?  ML, HS boy who is totally smitten by her is totally likable, same w/ FL2 (smart outspoken girl).  ML2 (ex-gangster) might not be a good choice for smart outspoken girl....his anger mgmt issues are a red flag.  I had forgotten ML2 involved in night club scandal...those red flags were for real!  Music was all American songs (1970's).  Loved them.

--- 1st kiss ML on FL's cheek.  Ep. 8 2nd ML kisses her eye, forehead & nose.

Ending - ML3 starts liking FL & confesses, but FL now likes ML (smitten geek) so she turns him down & he is alone.  Geek boy & Immature girl become couple.  Cheating live in maid leaves.  Outspoken girl & ex-gangster leave together for a new start somewhere else.

Notes:  The writer really knows what they are doing!  Acting was very good, but chemistry felt t just so so.  However, that hug in the phonebooth radiated warmth out to me.  FL letting her Aunt off the hook so easily pissed me off/frustrated me.  Aunt looked too old for ML's BF.  Aunt & ML's BF had 1 kiss which looked the same as lead's kiss. With only 4 eps mysteries were paced out well (ML was at FL's house 10 yrs ago, Cop is the murderer, ML's BF saw villain at scene 10 years ago)

--- 1 kiss at end.  ML goes in for a strong grab you kiss.  FL doesn't respond, but looks like she thought about responding/kinda liked it.

Ending - FL, villain & ML all in fire together.  ML goes to save murderer.  Writers tried to trick us into thinking he is dead, but he lives. Drama stronger w/ML death at end?  Villain goes to jail.

Notes:  Odd pairing of comedy & serious crime mystery. Serial killer that rapes & kills woman story arc w/comical scenes from ML's parents who are thieves.  It felt like it didn't work well together.  The bathroom fencing scene made me laugh.  FL undercover & dances in a bathing suit, she has a beautiful physique.  Why did no one tell ML he had passed the exam already & his mom messed w/the scores?

ML2, old intern I disliked from beginning & he could never redeem himself w/me.  I felt like i was being punished watching him.  Surprised that female executive was a villain & old Intern + daughter work together. 2 Interns relationship had to grow on me, she looked to old for him at first.

Ending:   Intern couple together, executive villain in jail, All interns' jobs safe.  CEO son & ML asked to be joint Directors, but ML resigns.  FF 2 yrs.  Old intern & daughter contracts ended no renewal...but then daughter gets offer from co. that just let her go.  Old Intern & ML end up back at the co. that let them go.  Female excutive got asked to come back to co. by CEO who still loves her (that's messed up!)

Notes:   The fighting scenes were pretty good. I must be a romance addict because I wanted King's betrothed sister & her fiancée from neighboring territory to fall for each other.  Who did wife love?  That umbrella of blades was stunning still or in motion.  Did not get the feelz from wife & ML.

Ending:  ML (the kidnapped boy), Sleeps w/his master's wife, finishes off his master + the king & stages it as if they killed each other.  King's sister & her fiancée killed in battle.  First & last scene are the same.  Wife at the door to castle looking out contemplating her next move.
