2026 Goal

OK I lied about the wait for starting 2026 I just really needed a sapphic palate cleanser.

Did I say A saphic palate cleanser?  I meant multiple.

Well looks like my tags aren't updating, better watch some movies to be sure...

OK so yeah now I can see Tags and Genres are updating but at this point I'm committed.

I'd say this doesn't count and was an obligatory watch but if that were true I'd be caught up on Squid Games already.

Not so much horror as psychological thriller with ghosts.  And while I'm not thrilled with part of the resolution, I understand why they took the route they did and I can't say it was wholly unsatisfying.  Choices, regret, consequences, fear, moral dilemmas and moral ambiguity with two wonderful leads who are both a foil and a mirror.  Overall, the run time was well spent and the story was tight.

This show had no business being so damn cute, and the soundtrack was great.

That laugh track was jarring but I was able to tune it out after two or so episodes.

I don't remember much from The Untamed but I do remember liking Wen Ning a lot.  This was a fun romp.

In three words- gay adoption melodrama.

My biggest complaint at first was the inconsistent tone. If it wanted to be a comedy, it should've gone the RPG route like Unique Lady.

Having finished it, my biggest complaint is the FL being sad when her attempted rapist kills himself, begging someone to save him, and visiting his grave to share good news about preserving his legacy or whatever she said (I started to tune out by that point).

I mostly watched this for Ryo Ishibashi. I've only seen him in three roles prior but damn can that man act.
