Everyone deserves a dad like the one in this show. I cried every single episode, my eyes were teary all the time, my mother thought I needed help. Sigh.

So many girls can relate to the female lead, lol. What she did was understandable, and I'm happy she transformed by the end of the show. What makes this show, funnily enough, is not the romance. It's the friendship between the female leads. God, they're so precious. Despite the ups and downs of their friendship, they came out of it loving each other like best friends should, and really, that's what kept me going.

This is actually my sister's favourite drama, but I enjoyed it a lot, as well. Yoon Hyunmin played a villain, but daaaaamn, did he do a good job of it. Please make him the lead for everything, thanks.

The story was very unrealistic, but so adorable, too? I didn't fancy the main female lead too much because I felt like her character was so bland. I felt like the writers were so much more invested in transforming the male lead into this perfect prince who fills all the cracks in the female lead's heart (haha, get it?), they didn't spend half as much time making the female lead more...than what she was. But she wasn't terrible, I just think she deserved a lot better in terms of characterization.

This drama is worth watching, but it's definitely not everyone's cup of tea (in case you're that type of person who can't watch 'unrealistic' plotlines, which, really, is hard to come by in kdramas, so maybe this isn't the place for you?).

What about this show wasn't perfect?

    The cast? NOPE.

    The storyline? HELL NO.

    The OST? Nooo.

    Anything? LOL NO.

This drama was beyond perfect. It was short, but it did so well in portraying a heartfelt story in twelve episodes. I think I may have cried in each episode, but who knows. One thing's for sure, when I say I wish Kim Mikyung was my mother-in-law, I am not kidding. I adore that woman.

Please watch this drama. Please. It's so good.

This drama was so adorable, I watch it just to make myself feel better and then cry because I wish I was back in high school.

Before I began this drama, I had zero expectations. (And in the kdrama world, this is honestly the best way to go about watching a new drama. Actually--you can add that as life advice as well).

Because I had zero expectations, everything I saw became that much better. I had never seen a drama by the lead actor before. But he was cute, and Park Minyoung is a forever fave. The drama began very nicely, as the story begins with a look at the family dynamic between the father and son, and then moves towards the incredible memory of the lead. (It's been so long since I watched the drama, so I can't recall names. Suffice to say, my memory is a dumpster compared to the main character.

I liked how everything was set up. I especially enjoyed the banter between the two leads, who were adorable when they fought (and I say 'fought' in the vaguest manner. It was more like, teasing adoration).

But what kept me hella interested?

    PARK. SUNG. WOONG.

Listen. Everyone hypes this man so much, but I had honestly never heard of him until watching this drama. It wasn't his looks that pulled me in. It was that beautiful accent. Omg. It's so, so nice to hear and I really loved it. Plus, his character was the one with the redemption arc, and I'm a sucker for that (can you guess who my favourite character in ATLA was, besides Aang?).

    Other than that, NAM GOONGMIN.

What's with this show and having casted the most brilliant actors in all the leading roles? Like. Explanations because so many other dramas could learn.

I love, love looooove Nam Goongmin. And yes, it was only after seeing his acting in this drama. This drama introduced me to many new actors/actresses, so thank God for that.

Overall, this drama made me cry so much. Yeah, I'm very sensitive as is, buuuuut, believe me when I say this drama will bring on the waterworks. It's worth watching every minute.
