Dramas I Watched: 2026

This was an enjoyable remake. I think the first half is stronger than the second, and it doesn't compare to the original, but this was enjoyable, and I even tracked down the soundtrack on iTunes, lol.

Dropped during ep 10. This drama was never necessarily good, but it had cute moments with likable leads, so I chose to give it a shot. But I just can't finish it. It's too silly for me, and I didn't enjoy the direction some parts of the story took.

Dropped during ep 11. I attempted a rewatch/first complete watch. I made it through ep 10, which is way farther than the first time I tried watching, but I ended up having to drop it again. I enjoyed it more this time around, but I also realized it's just not a very good drama. Which I clearly recognized the first time I tried watching it considering I dropped it back then as well, lol.

It doesn't rival the original, but it's a highly enjoyable remake even if it's a bit rushed in places.

Started in 2025. This is engaging and fantastic. It took me a little bit to get the last few eps finished (because of a computer issue, not an enjoyment one), and that did hamper some of the momentum of the story, but overall, I loved it. Great characters, great action scenes/fight choreography, and absolutely fantastic humor.

An introspective story with a slice-of-life style pacing and deep themes. It won't be for everyone, but it has a beauty and charm that make it worth checking out.

This drama is very stupid and badly written, and I definitely would not recommend it if you want something that is good, but I wanted to watch something a little dumb and mindless for a bit, and this fit the bill. Surprised I managed to finish it, but I guess the stupid was funny enough to keep me more entertained then irritated, lol.

I loved this. I love the leads, I love their romance, I love the filmography. The corporate machinations were boring in the latter half, but otherwise, this was a solid story.

What was that random final scene though that was unrelated to anything else in the drama? That left me scratching my head and wondering why that screen time wasn't spent on the leads instead.

I rated this a 9 or 10 immediately after finishing, because I was on a high and it's overall so enjoyable, but after further thought, I have to lower the rating to an 8. This movie was a very realistic and relatable portrayal of what it's like to get totally caught up in a person for a large period of your life in a way that is unhealthy. But the ending, even though it's well acted and shot and even written, is completely frustrating. These kinds of dynamics just leave people stuck in their own lives, and seeing them end up in the same place at the end is deeply unsatisfying and kind of makes you mad. Either get together or don't but stop going round and round in this circle. For your own sake if not the viewer.

It needed more character and plot development in places, but I overall really enjoyed this.

Just be warned. This is not, in fact, a romance but a story about the end of one.

It's silly and fluffy and shouldn't be taken too seriously, but it's also rather charming and fun and has some really fantastic humor. I laughed and smiled and was even moved by the romance.

Failed attempted complete rewatch. I dropped this my first watch because I thought the male lead was silly, and I didn't like the storyline. My second attempted watch, I really liked him and found the story engaging the first 5/6 eps. But the drama spends a lot of time on business politicking, which isn't something I enjoy, and it made everything else hard for me to watch for some reason. I tried to finish for the sake of the three main leads and their respective storylines (I really like the complexity of the three of them), but I couldn't manage it. Maybe someday I will be successful in completing this drama, but today is not that day.

This was more depressing and serious than I expected, but also excellently hilarious. I don't agree with all of the female leads decisions, and I don't agree with all of the drama's underlying messages, but this drama made me think. I appreciate how seriously it took it's subject matter and how it treated every angle of love and relationships and singleness with care and respect. I also just really enjoyed watching it, lol.

First rewatch. This drama will always make me ugly cry.

The editing is flawed, the drama employs intentionally overdramatic acting, and the music can be very overdramatic at times too, but it's not a slap/kiss story, it's frequently genuinely funny, I loved seeing into this particular part of Thai culture, I loved all of the characters and both romances, and despite the flawed editing, the plot is well-written. The drama grew on me, and by the end, I was wishing I could download it to own for myself in case I ever feel like watching it again.

First rewatch. The entire story is built on tropes, and part of the main premise is problematic, but I ended up binge-rewatching it this weekend, and it gave me what I was looking for, so I feel no regrets, lol.

This has strong 2010's Kdrama tropes vibes with mid writing and quite different from the movie it's supposed to be based on. Overall, not anything particularly special, but I did have fun watching it, particularly the romance, so it wasn't a waste of my time.

This drama is fantastic. I wish I had watched it when it was airing. This is definitely going on my favorite romance/rom-com's list.

Honestly, I'm kind of feeling like this was a waste of my time. We'll see how I feel about it tomorrow.

I had never seen either of this drama's specials, so I was excited to find subs for this one, and I ended up really enjoying it. There was some really good exploration of the inherent problems in the leads relationship, something you don't really see in the drama. The ending is frustrating though since it doesn't give us any payoff/resolution for said issues. The male lead says he will work on himself to improve as a person, but then he mostly acts the same as he always has at the end. That was annoying.

Was this worth going back to finish the last 4 eps after dropping it 3 years ago? No, but I did it, and now I can say I finished this version of this story, lol.

First rewatch. I'm very surprised I hated this drama the first time I watched it, and I cannot figure out what my problem was. I did struggle this time around in the second half to get back into the story at times, but I don't think that was a drama problem. Halfway through, I got busy and lost momentum with story, which affected my immersement. Overall, this is a very solid drama.
