Ranking of 2016 dramas I've watched

*Favorite Couple. Bok Joo & Joon Hyung. They were so great together!! They really lift each other up, which is essential in every relationship but especially theirs since they both are competing athletes. You could see how much admiration they have for each other, and love and support.
They also look damn good together (for awhile I even had them as my profile pic lol- removed it when they broke up in real life). 

*Favorite Second Lead Couple. Actually today's keyword is quite tough. I don't really pay attention a lot to the other couples of the drama but the first couple that comes to mind is Park Soo Kyung and Lee Jin Sang from Another Miss Ho. They were so funny, both alone and together. They went through hardships but still ended up together, while beating the prejudice of young man- older woman romance. I was totally rooting for them *-* 

WOW. Such a thriller, couldn't stop watching it. I don't know why, but only Chinese drama can make my heart truly ache for the characters.
There aren't words to describe how talented the cast is, especially the second FL. I sympathized with her so much, and I cried every time the ML said something that implied he doesn't love her.

*Most Heartbreaking Second Lead Story. Xiao Nan. All throughout the drama, my heart ached for her, literally. Every time she expressed her love towards Chen Shen and he avoided it. I really felt her heartbreak, each time he told her in nice words that she's not the right woman for him.
And her ending- that was really sad. I cried hysterically- how could they kill the most perfect, kind hearted woman of the drama?
gif from the first time I felt my heart breaking for her- when he in a fake manner proposed her marriage , just to save the woman he really loves and her second lead. 

*Favorite actor discovered in 2020. Li Yi Feng. I know this drama didn't air this year, but I have seen it only now.
This guy is so so good looking. Yes not on the level of Go Soo but def the most good looking Chinese actor I know (IMO) after Jing Boran (who's 1/8 Russian).
His acting was phenomenal in the drama till the level that I found it hard to separate him from the character and got every time confused while watching Noble Aspirations where the character he played was much more "meh". 

*Favorite Love Triangle. From the very beginning I was rooting for the Kang Ha Neul-IU couple, but one does not simply walk into fire for the wrong pairing and not acknowledge the reality and the real couple. Therefore, in my eyes, they're a love triangle (much like Reply 1994- second favorite lol). 

*An aired or announced remake that you are determined to never watch? Actually I'm going to answer the opposite lol I really liked the remake and tried to start the original BUT leads awful haircuts were too much for me, so yeah Scarlet Heart. I won't watch it. Better to rewatch Moon Lovers :) 

*Recommend a Drama and/or a Movie that has "Life", "Joy", "Happy(/iness)", or "Laugh(/ter)" in its title.
I know I've rated much higher Because this is My First Life, but I want to give a shout-out to a less known drama- One More Happy Ending. I'm not a big fan of Jung Kyung Ho (didn't like him in Cruel City), but I've seen this drama for Na Ra unni and In Na unni. It's such a unique drama, the beginning was just gold. You laugh, you cry, and overall you learn about different perspectives of women in their thirties. totally GIRL POWER 

I've seen quite a few makjang family drama but none of them made me as frustrated as this one. The whole first part of the drama (more than 50 eps) was just a torture to watch. I felt so bad for Lee Yoo Ri that I didn't know what to do lol
FYI I'm not satisfied at all with this ending :(

They tried to glorify a quite toxic relationship. I really didn't root for the happy ending.
Guys like him won't change.
