Chi Yi Cheng is a Chinese screenwriter and director born in Heilongjiang, Harbin, China. He is the founder of Xiamen Yicheng Film and Television Culture Media Co., Ltd (厦门羿成影视文化传媒有限公司).

In 2011, he was admitted to Shanghai Theater Academy, Department of Choreography and Directing, Film and Television Academy with the highest score in the country in professional courses. He graduated in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in literature. In the same year, he directed the short film "Prisoner", which was shortlisted for the ISFVF Short Film Festival.

In 2017, he served as the screenwriter of the movie "A Walk Alone". The film won the "2017 Special Fund to Promote Shanghai Film Development Funding Project", and won the “Wanda Special Attention Project” Award.
