Chris Chiu is a Taiwanese actor, singer, and host born in Taichung, Taiwan. He is a former member of the boy bands Choc7 and JPM.

He attended Taichung City Liren Elementary School, Taichung City Liren Junior High School, and Xinmin High School. He graduated from Nanchang Vocational High School with a major in Performing Arts and later enrolled at Southeast University of Science and Technology.

Modi's career began with the airing of his first show, "Model Boy Band," on August 14, 2006. On March 1, 2010, he joined Legend Star Entertainment, where his older brother, Qiu Sheng Yi, is also an artist. He formed JPM with Liao Yun Jie and his brother on January 11, 2011.

On February 12, 2015, JPM announced that while they would not disband, members would pursue solo careers. Modi’s contract with Legend Star Entertainment expired later that year, and he subsequently joined Huan Yan International Music in March.
