Nicholas Tse
- Name: Nicholas Tse
- Native name: 謝霆鋒
- Also Known as: Xie Ting Feng, Xie Tingfeng, Tse Tingfung, 谢霆锋
- Nationality: Hong Konger
- Gender: Male
- Born: August 29, 1980
- Age: 45
Nicholas grew up in the spotlight being born to famous parents, Hong Kong actors: Patrick Tse (謝賢) and Deborah Lee (狄波拉). At the age of 8, he and his family immigrated to Vancouver, Canada, but they returned to Hong Kong where he began attending Hong Kong International High School until the media attention and pressure forced him to move to Phoenix, Arizona for a year to continue his studies. He would later return to Hong Kong, after pursuing studies at the Tokyo Conservatory of Music in Japan. Nicholas held a Canadian citizenship from 1988 to 2020, but had announced his decision to renounce his Canadian citizenship in September 2019.
At the age of 16, Nicholas signed a long-term contract with Fitto Records (飛圖唱片), thus marking his official debut into the entertainment industry. The record label would get acquired and renamed Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG) in Nov. 30, 1999.
In 2006, Nicholas surprised his girlfriend, Hong Kong actress and singer Cecilia Cheung (張柏芝), with a secret engagement and private wedding while vacationing in Pamalican Island, Philippines. On Aug. 7, 2007, the couple welcomed their first son Lucas Tse (谢振轩); their second son Quintus Tse (谢振南) was born three years later, on May 12, 2010. However, after five years of marriage, the couple decided to divorce and officially filed for divorce in August 2011. Both he and his ex-wife share custody of their two sons.
