Blackie Ko
- Name: Blackie Ko
- Native name: 柯受良
- Also Known as: Ke Shou Liang, Ke Shouliang, Kei Shouliang
- Nationality: Taiwanese
- Gender: Male
- Born: February 22, 1953
- Died: December 9, 2003
The Ko family, with a 200-year history of fishing along the Zhejiang coastline, belonged to the Minnan ethnic group. Ko's older brother, Ko Shou Chiu, was the chairman of the Fugang Haishen Temple, and his younger brother, Ko Shou Hsiung, was a director of the Ningbo Taiwanese Association and general manager of Ningbo Xiangshan Mingchang Trading.
At age 3, Ko moved with his family to Dachen New Village near the Zhihang Air Base in Taitung. He attended Fugang Elementary School and Beinan Junior High School but had to drop out due to financial difficulties. He worked in the family fishing business before moving to Taipei at 16. In 1970, he was admitted to the Star School of Film Acting, where he worked as a script supervisor and martial arts stuntman.
By 1977, Ko entered the Hong Kong film industry as a stuntman and action director. In 1988, he transitioned to directing, with his debut film "Mighty Ambition." In 1992 he made a Guinness World Record stunt, jumping 38 meters over the Great Wall of China on a motorcycle.
In 1993, Ko founded the Ko Shou Liang Film Creation Company. He passed away on December 9, 2003, at the age of 50 from an asthma attack, worsened by excessive alcohol consumption.
