Chiang Sheng entered the film industry around 1973, starting as a martial artist and actor. In 1976, he moved to Hong Kong and signed a contract with Shaw Brothers (邵氏公司), where he worked as a martial artist, actor, and later took on roles as assistant director and martial arts coordinator.
He passed away in 1990 from heart failure.
