And tbh you can pretty much tell these people have not read a book in their lives bc romance has been like this since the dawn of time. The story of a mysterious man being gradually revealed through a woman's pov is way more intimate and way more romantic than the male char being shoved into your face all the time

Most of his peers are exactly like that and I don't really understand how you ppl gag over their narcissism ruining scripts the moment those selfish demands gives them some pretty shots instead of seeing this as a problem and calling it out.

Bratty actors and their fragile male egos have in fact been ruining stories about women's journies for YEARS now but you ppl are genuinely seating here and complaining about the adaptation of a female centric being, surprise surprise, mostly about women. lol

why are people so annoying omfg this is an adaptation of a female centric novel so are quite litterally 9 out of every 10 novels that get adapted into idol costume dramas of fvcking course the female characters are important and prominent in the story.

Idk if this is really that good or if I'm getting too excited bc I'm finally watching an actually thought through story unfold in a drama after seating through SO many shows that felt like a bunch of popular tropes and tiktok edit material scenes glued together😭either way I really love it so far and I've not felt like this about anything for months now

idol drama= dramas that prioritise good looking actors, beautiful visuals and the entertainment factor over plot, artistic value etc (most cdramas international fans watch are idol dramas. This one is probably not an idol drama)

Please have well written, complex main AND side characters. No 1 dimensional and comically evil antagonists and villains, no main characters that are smarter than the writer, no dumb and ridiculous aura farming for the main characters that makes the drama look like a game ad, please have even pacing. Please have good cameraworks, good lighting, good editing. Please no awful whitening and bluring face filters, no corpse white foundation. Please please PLEASE be good and entertaining and fun to watch and emotionally engaging and do a good enough job as an idol drama bc this good drama draught is actually killing me. I don't want a masterpiece just be good enough please I have faith in these actors 😭

Based of what's out about it so far it does seem like there will be straight romance but your point would still stands bc the female character has complexities and individual struggles out of romance and ppl saying she's not "needed" in there means they clearly don't care about women's stories at all.
