It’s 3:37 AM here. I binged the last 10 episodes. I cried a river throughout. Only to smile in the last episode. It’s a wrap and a happy ending. Everyone has their closure and deserved endings. It’s 100 of 10 for me. No, that’s not a typo nor exaggeration. It’s truly a masterpiece. From the acting, directing, cinematography, storytelling, costumes, make up to the script, everything is a top notch. Zhao Lusi and Wu Lei delivered excellent job. I hope their acting careers will always shine like the stars in the galaxy. Now my heart feels empty. No more new episodes to look forward to. Gonna sleep now as I still need to go to work.

I do rewatch my favourite dramas from time to time. The second time usually gives me a better understanding of the characters and story. I do skip scenes tho.

I understand where you’re coming from. There’s no excuse for the path he has chosen though. It’s not like he didn’t have access to the power. He’s been given choice to shine by LBY multiple times. With his boldness, he could have disobeyed and bypassed his uncle easily. But he chose the worst way possible.
Now I am curious how CSS figures out LBY’s real identity in the novel. Do you mind sharing more details?
