I love the song that plays towards the end of episode 13 at about the 40 minute mark. I was finally able to find what the name of the song was and who sings it thanks to ChatGPT. It is called Sunburn by Brian Cheng. It will now live on repeat on my phone for a while.

I really want to start watching this series because of all the great edits from it that I have seen, but at the same time I really want to wait to watch it because...well, that atrociously slow airing schedule. Seriously, one episode a day for that many days?! 😵💫 Should I go ahead and start it, or should I wait until more of the drama has aired?
The vertical version follows the plotlines of the novel much closer than Shadow Love did. The ending of the vertical was pretty much the same as the novel ending, as well.
I like it well enough. I am finding more and more that Li Yifei is very much a green flag that covers himself in cold, gruff, and grumpy outwardly, but is actually very kind and caring even when he doesn't initially like a person. I think, if the drama continues down the path it is going, that this may become another comfort drama for me.
I think it is because many people do not like the lighting or the AI. I don't have a problem with the lighting, but there are some, at least to me, minor issues regarding the editing in the scenes where the AI has been used. The sound quality of Li Xin Ze's dubbing is also not that great. Just these couple of issues are not so bothersome to me to warrant lowering the rating, though. I just think some people are more sensitive to it than others. There were a lot of comments about the AI and lighting the first two days it was airing.
I find it very odd that they would choose to air only one episode the day after the premiere. You would think they would stick to two episodes a day for at least a few days to continue to draw veiwers in. Airing just one episode the day after the premiere is a quick way to lose viewers, at least temporarily, especially viewers that have a tendency to just wait until a drama has finished airing to watch it if they feel the drama airing schedule is just too inconsistent or dragging.

I don't even get the deal with the lighting. I don't see any problem with it. But the AI, more specifically how the scenes involving the AI have been edited, are a minor annoyance to me. It just wasn't well edited. And the sound quality of his dubbing is not the greatest. But overall, these couple things are very minor and do not affect my rating or opinion of the drama. They are not so glaringly obvious as to warrent lowering the rating.

I was already beginning to suspect that none of the disciples were alive anymore, and that she was the only one to survive, thus contributing to her trauma-related hallucinations of Qing Shuang. It will be interesting to see how it all unfolds in the coming episodes.
