Watch it if you love Dylan Wang!! Romance is a subplot in this drama, but for the screentime they had, I really enjoyed their scenes. I usually like romance dramas more too, BUT this was a masterpiece through and through! He became one of my fav actors with this drama :)

I also had the same experience with the bad reviews holding me back from watching this. But overall, I thought is was a good drama. Also, WHD's acting in Guardians of the Dafeng was amazing too if you want to check that drama out!

Ok so here's their relationship map as of episode 24-- Shi Yan, Yu You, and Guan Ji are best friends. Shuyi and Ruoshan are besties; Shuyi and Shiyue are good friends; Ruoshan and Shiyue are acquaintances.
Shuyi and Shi Yan like each other and are dating. Shuyi and Yu You are forced to go on blind dates by their moms. Shuyi only sees Yu You as a friend, and YY has some interest in her but doesn't necessarily pursue her. Shiyue comes along to their "dates" to make it less awkward, buuut Shiyue likes Yu You. Yu You doesn't necessarily reciprocate those feelings, but he does care about her in some sort. However, he now thinks Shiyue has some sort of relationship with Guan Ji (even though they don't). Now Ruoshan also thinks Shiyue and Guan Ji have a relationship and gets upset. This is not to mention Ruoshan and Guan Ji are still kinda in a friends w/ benefits-type relationship...
And after all this. Shuyi and Yu You still doesn't know Shiyue is Shi Yan's niece... and none of them (besides Ruoshan) know Shuyi and Shi Yan are dating. And Shuyi also isn't being clear to Shi Yan about these "dates" with his best friend š LIKE Y'ALLLLLL PLEEEEEAASEEE TALK IT OUTTT
