Well its nice to know your insights about dramas you haven't watched based on the trailers lol but I usually watched…
Same. I watched Twinkling Watermelon only recently. I prefer to watch shows after airing but I got caught up in the last year and watched quite a few airing dramas (I don’t recommend this 😅). However, I did like Queen of Tears and I’m looking forward to watching Lovely Runner once it’s all aired. I haven’t watched Crash Landing yet but it’s on my list. In terms of what I end up enjoying, it’s a mixed bag. Sometimes it’s popular shows, sometimes it’s unpopular shows. Sometimes it’s unheard of shows. Sometimes I accidentally make up shows and find out later they don’t exist. 😂😂
Let’s be honest, we didn’t love this series for the plot or the acting (which has somehow gotten worse) 😅 but the chemistry is still chemistrying and it remains charming.
This is the second so called controversy with this series..both of them seem contrived. After all, if this is…
I’m noticing a lot of patterns that TVN series of late have had a lot of controversy stirred up against them. E.g. Marry My Husband, Queen Of Tears and now this. All in similar weekly fashion. Now I’m not saying this is definitive proof as correlation does not equal causation but once is by chance, twice is a coincidence, three times is a pattern.
This was supposed to be an easy watch, filler series for downtime in between other shows. Unfortunately the continued adding of new plots without enough time to resolve old ones and the choice to keep certain plot points from the original but change everything else around them, makes those things not make sense. I don’t see this wrapping up satisfactorily. I’ve had enough. I’m out. ✌🏽
I can actually get past the bad lighting, weird camera effects, and the background music on steroids, as I think I’m able to watch it how it was intended to be watched in 2007. I imagine the concept back then and the original plot would have been very exciting to 2007 viewers. I see that, and I embrace that but try as I may, I cannot get past the over the top acting. I don’t think I would have been able to in 2007 either. Sometimes the Japanese style scream acting works depending on the series but I don’t think it works here. Still, it was enjoyable and I can see why many viewers still look upon this series fondly.
Ep 29 and we are so far behind! I'm guessing that 4 episodes will be rushed as we now have 4 love stories to sort…
Yup. This is why I started to get annoyed around the ep 25/26 mark because I realised we only had so many episodes left, with the story only being half way through, yet they were releasing filler episodes with 10 minutes of the previous episodes in the next episode.🤦🏽♀️
Sir Philip’s reactions to Brandon just kills me. He is so funny. 😂
I really, really like his character. I enjoyed the Korean counterpart and didn’t think it was possible to like the character more, yet here we are. This version is even funnier. 😂
And I’m getting annoyed now by the episode offerings since episode 26. They basically repeat the last ten minutes of the last episode in the first ten minutes of the next episode. Meaning you only get about 10 minutes worth of new scenes. I don’t understand why there isn’t much to these newer episodes, considering there are only 5 episodes to go and we are only just over half way through the story.
The, ‘why are they hiding it from sec Kim’ future reveal is already making me mad because you know it’s gonna be the ficklest of reasons.
I said I wasn’t going to drop it but I don’t know now. I might. I’m losing hope for a satisfactory conclusion and I’m starting to care less and less. I feel like I’ve wasted my time and that irks me so much.
I’m just commenting to say, temper your expectations for the uncut version because it is not much in terms of substance or length. It does not add any depth or extra story. Even the additional seconds of kissing scenes (and I mean seconds), I wouldn’t say is substantive enough to warrant an uncut version. Nor does it add anything to the ending. Therefore, save your money and even if you’re hoping to watch the uncut version for free; you really are not missing much. Trust me.
Plus, I feel called out about my suit fetish. 😜😂
If I no longer care what happens in a drama it’s better to quit it.
