What does this series want to tell us?
First, the series pushes us directly into the fray without any context at all. If you didn't watch the Tamkumi-kun Series 6 movie, you are lost of what is happening. Besides that, they changed some of the actors so even if you have seen it, it feels a bit weird. Only Gii is the same actor in the movie and the series. And instead of concentrating on one story there are many stories involved with little screentime and without any depth besides the main couple and one rejection which was done well. I was never a fan of the Takumi-kun series, because they are mostly shallow and without substance. Such a series is not really "helpful" at all.
Production quality was ok, but not spectacular, costumes were also just ok, I guess because of a limited budget. So, I would have prefered a second movie instead of a series with the same actors and of course some real kissing which is still not happening in any Takumi-kun series. Besides some cute "boys" there is not much going for this series. It has some fluffy moments, it has some serious moments, but overall it's just a medicore series with a codensed storyline which should have been expanded especially with the "side-couples". If you liked the movie, this will contiune the story. Should you have not seen the movie I guess you will be overwhelmed with the story.

Not my cup of tea...
I don't like the mixture between comedy and drama... either do comedy or do drama but not both of them. The abusive use of the accociated soundeffects did not make it better. While Huey, Dewey and Louie are mostly fun, the hysterical girl was annoying as hell. I guess it's a trademark for BLs to have to include an annoying girl/woman in every production and that is so cliché and should not happen in 2025. But what they did again was lazy writing, because the three boys get lost im the end and did not get involved in anything... even the boy/girl-love stories are left unexplored. So the pacing of the whole series is choppy at best. The actors did a good job, even when I don't feel the main couple. I don't know what it is, both are for sure nice persons and in their way cute/handsome, but together they don't give me a spark.
So all in all a typical BL which did nothing new, played it mostly safe, had of course stereotypical baddies. Also the "ex" was an asshole but everyone forgave him in an instant, not very realistic in my book. For me, not even a medicore show, while some comedy was ok, the storyline was flat and didn't get me emotionally for most of the time. You may watch it and like it, but I did not.

stupid format, cute series
As usual, the format is a pain in the butt... why are Gen Z too lazy to rotate their phone? Let's say I will never understand that. Besides of that, we will get a cute story with some plot-holes. The beginning is fine and the flash forward was not something to misunderstand, but the solution of their becoming a couple is more than strange. It just happens in a blink of an eye and also "Woo Jins" sister was a bit strange.Storywise there is a lot room for improvement, but production quality was good, acting was good and overall the vibe of the show was good. I did enjoy watching it even with the plot-holes and happily enough I found a version with all 50 episodes cut together. Otherwise this format is a clear pass for me. I understand they say that Gen Z has not the attention span to watch 75 minutes uninterrupted, but I think, that's BS. Imagining that I have to watch 50 episodes each around 90 seconds every day would be a chore for me. When you have the chance to watch it on your smartphone or even on your TV, you should do so, but beware the subs are flashing really fast, so sometimes you may need to rewind just to get what they said if you are not fluent in korean :) And because it's a low budget production my rating is a notch higher, so please don't be too harsh with me 🤣.

Aahhh.... sooooo nice....
There is not much else to say, it just warmed my heart...The only thing I felt unneeded was the panel... Imho it did nothing for me and I don't need other "opinions" to come to a conclusion myself and it took some minutes off of other content. I prefer an unfiltered view of things. The second negative point is, it would have been so much nicer if something like this get at least eight episodes... compared to some of the crap shows which we have to endure for twelve episodes.
So overall I hope they are together till the end of time and I wish them happyness and health.

That was cute...
but the story was a bit weired... I would have prefered to see the sister again and not two side characters which are a couple as well? (Schedule conflict with the actress?) So, I don't get that part. The rest was as fluffy as expected and their chemestry was top notch.Overall it was enjoyable and did end the show well. Not much else to say, just watch it, if you have seen the series.

Another misunderstanding trope
Airing at the same time as "Something's Not Right" this is the more mature version of quite the same story. A misunderstanding kept the two men not to connect with each other. While the plot is not as interesting they struggle less with communicating and they frustrate me way less.Overall a good show with at least a story easy to follow, good acting, good production quality, good theme but nothing stellar. It's qute nice to watch but it will not leave a strong impression. It also seems to have less budget but they used it well with some side characters and even a company floor.
Again, worlds better compared to most thai shows, so it may be a palate cleanser after you watch something heavy or want to take your mind off to relax after a stressful work-week.

Bad acting, bad story, just bad
What I felt after the first minutes was that this show is "steril"... It feels like the desinfect spray they use all the time (because the story plays during/after Corona). The acting is lifeless, except Cakes brother (Tee). Many actors are too old for their roles or at least look too old, especially Cake. After the first episode you will get the gist of how the story will end, when the "bitches" appear. It was so predictable and so lazy again. And whats with all the reverb in many scenes? While the production quality itself is mostly good, there should have been also audio-editing for removing reverb. But with such bad acting and no chemistry at all there was no chance in hell this could be good.So in short, just skip this show and watch something else, it's just a waste of time. How this show can have a rating above 7 is a mistery for me. Is it ok for people watching this crap just because it's BL? It's beyond my mind. The year 2024 is a sad year for Thai BL, producing crap en masse with only a few really good shows and mostly just medicore ones.

At last ... it ended.
I start with the first part of episode 1: A rich boy is in love with a boy who he met on a dating platform. Today is the day to meet and the "office worker" met the rich boy at the most elaborate and expensive location imagable. Because the rich boy is not especially clever, he never asks himself how the office worker could afford that. Of course the "office worker" is also a rich boy....That's how the story begins and that's the quality the screenwriter put into their script. How this got funded is beyond me, it was boring as fuck, unlogical as fuck and the drama was there just to have drama in it.
At least camera work was stunning, so this gets a bonus point for that, but even with that, it's one of the worst Thai shows we have seen this year. I am just a bit sad that all the actors/actrresses had to put up with such a show.

Strong beginning, bad ending....
This show started strong in the first episode and the second gave a glimpse of what could be an outstanding show. But the writers missed it.While Sea was really good acting a nearly blind person, he was not so great with the fluffy moments. Jimmy did grow in his acting but he could only do as much as he was given from the script. The problem is the writing, the 180 turn from "enemies" to "lovers" was much too fast, the character development did just happen over night. Mhok should have much more struggle with his trauma and a spoiled brat does not turn 180° overnight also.
The side characters all did a good job. Production value and music was very good, but that does not help with the storytelling. The last two episodes are strange and the "happy ending" was too much. Day should have stayed blind, they should not have seperated in that way they did because Day was back to his spoiled brat days only thinking about himself.
The premise of the show was very good but they butchered it for "fan service" to make the show fluffy. It's still enjoyable to watch when you don't expect exceptional story-telling.

turn your brain off and enjoy
We got a teaser of at the end of the series and now we see a continiation of the story in another world.Sadly they did not go all the way, because I would like have seen Phu freaking out after the kiss...
this is an extra epsisode has a very light story, some fluff, some kissing and a bit fan-service. Production quality was good but in one scene the microphones were a bit mumbled which breaks the illusion. So overall nothing spectacular but cute. If you liked the series you will probably like this as well.

Condensed story, very good acting, positive message
Love Sick 2024 was a surprise for me. I did not expect much out of it, but it was made very well. They condensed the story of the original two seasons into one, cut out some of the draggy stuff, but they did struggle in the end. While the series started really strong, I felt like the last three episodes left something to be desired. Maybe it was time-constraints that forced them to do that, but it could have been better. Minus points also for the ads in your face, even when they tried to make them incorporate in scenes, but most felt forced. Plus points for the acting of most of the young lads/gals which did deliver a performance most seasoned actors could take a lesson from. Of course there are no NC scenes, because most of the kids are really kids, around 14 to 19 while filming this series, Sometimes it was not that easy to keep track of all the storylines with such a huge cast, but the original had even more going on (the did cut the girl-school out of this version).
Some reviewers will give you a detailed acount of what's going on, so I will not repeat them, suffice to say, while the original series was not bad, I liked the condensed version better, especially it has no match in production quality. The original felt very budget constraint but here they went all out with good cinematography and sound.
This is more a coming of age story than a BL, but kids need to know of themselves, need to know how to solve problems with talking, like Phun & Aim and Noah & Yuri, they need to intervene when abusive parents are doing bad things and to be mature when it matters. The series has also a nice vibe going on, even with the bad stuff happening and sends a positive message to every teenager watching this: Be yourself, don't hide your feelings and stand up for yourself.
Overall, one of the few Thai shows in 2024 I can recommand. It's not perfect, it lost some stream in the end, but compared to all the other shows around, it was still done very well.

That was painful to watch....
While the actors did the job, they were asked to... the overacting, overfunny stuff was just painful to watch. In some of the serene moments the show would have been ok to watch and you see a glimpse of what the actors are capable of. But the direction/exectution/writing was the worst.
And why do they need stupid noises for any comedy style show in Thailand? That's sooooooo annoying.
If the show has true comedy no noises are neccessary to convey it. And why do they need to recycle the "comedy" music all the time? Is there no reason to do something new?
This show feels like a advertisment spot with some story around without seperation compared for example to "Last Twilight" where the spot is on the end and you can skip it. Also extremly annoying.
The writing of the main couple is very shallow, giving the side couple the much more interesting story arc.
Overall the second worst show of this year which you could skip without any worries.
And why can't I vote a 0 or at least 0.5? So my 1 should be a 0.

A 3rd tier GMMTV show for braindead people...
I can only say "Typical GMMTV". When you use the same door-sound used 10 years ago in Sotus and regardless of how heavy the door is, it is always the same, you know that the sound editors just used the cheapest thing available. And don*t mention the music. It's either "suspense" or "sentimental" or the same canned music every GMMTV romcom is using and has no direction and no concept.Of course this is not the worst of this series, it shows just how irrelevant this show was for GMMTV. It seems this was just a "job creation scheme" for two "aging" actors who would sit on the bench otherwise. That's not saying that they are bad actors, it's onl.y saying that GMMTV collects actors like others collect Pokémons and sometimes you use them, because it's just fun. And could GMMTV stop putting nearly 30 year old actors into universities? Especially if the baddy looks younger and is a teacher instead 🤣.
"Why is it not working?" Nakan asks in episode 7. Because the story is badly written. It does not answer the question "where does the golden blood come from?". You research that question for decades and still have no answer (of course, because the script writers had only a week to write something). We only know, it makes you mad or horny and the fragrance forces you to jerk off. It can destroy vampires immortality but not turn you into a human. But it can resist the effects of vampires controlling you, but you can still become a vampire.
And because the story is so bad "Tonkla" submits to his lowest feelings and then not- and then he dies... Whoops. But nothing says "rose pedal bath" more after the funeral the scriptwriters thought.
Finally the finale... oh my god... this is all sooo cliché. As usual GMMTV has no vision or courage to have a bad ending which would give this series a glimpse of something special. The golden blood does not hinder you to become a vampire yourself and we have no clue how that golden blood influences everything. Should he not be the most powerful vampire now?
Overall I could have not given a rats ass myself about the characters. I did not care who died and who didn't. Most of the time the whole storyline was streched to fill 12 episodes which made most of if boring as hell. The chemistry was there sometimes but I never ever had one a fluffy feeling and even other bad shows at least manage that. So really this was a non-event for me. I needed binge-watch the last 4 episodes to write this review and that was a chore. 🤣
So, is this the worst GMMTV show this year (2025)? Yes. Is it the worst show ever: no. I would say, it was mostly a waste of time. Why even this show with it's obviously bad script is so overrated - I have no clue. You can believe all the 9-10 ratings reviews that this is the best show after human invented sliced bread or you have a brain of thinking yourself and believe me when I tell you, please watch something else.

sad & beautiful with amazing chemistry and top-notch cinematography
For an idol Kamimura Kenshin had an amazing debut in his main role. Both leads had an amazing chemistry, subtle facial expressions or not so subtle facial expressions which cought me in episode 1. The sensiblity with all their inime scenes filmed was stunning. The story was captivating and it was excruciating to wait for the next episode. Oh my god did I wish this series had been released with all episodes at once. The characters were detailed and their personalities completly different. Motojima Junsei as Jin also showed great skill, the introvert with only two friends, overthinking anything and struggeling to come out of his shell. Haruki has "friends" but is not close to anyone, hides his struggles and is abused at home. He fears to become like his father and so he always decides not to fight back, takes blame for things he never did and is generally an outcast by most people. Jin does not understand Haruki, he knows of the abuse, but subconsciously he knows Haruki is not a bad guy. And then Haruki is bold kissing Jin a lot, never by force, but denies Jin the word for his feelings which does confuse Jin a lot. You feel the tension and their struggles with each other. And when you think all is well, it is not. Of course this a BL so we get a happy end.
There are some things I did not like. Jin was not open with his friends It was never shown that he told them about his love but it was implied, otherwise why did he invite his friends for the movie made by Haruki? His film is about two boys who seperate to meet again when adults btw. The second one is that the finale felt underwhelming. While the beginning was good the middle and end was lukewarm including the kissing scenes. I had tears in my eyes through all episodes from 1-9 but only in the beginning of episode 10. That's the only reasons why it was not perfect for me. Update: The "special" epsiode (sometimes labeled episode 11) does not solve the issue that Jin keeps in the closet with his friends even when Haruki said he had a crush on Jin but circumvent the reason. So either his friends are stupid and don't get the drift or it's a huge plothole.
The cinematography and direction was on point. This is a series you should binch-watch, the 10 episodes at around 22 minutes playtime will be gone faster than you can imagine and are a delight to watch. While it seems to be going slow everything was made with a tought behind it. Again a great japanese BL which makes thai shows looking very lame and underwhelming (with few exceptions). Overall this is a must see and was one of the best in 2024.

A typical Domundi production, quite shallow, quite emotionless...
Also as expected, the review section is flooded with 10, even when it's not even close. The biggest problem the show has is history. And I don't mean if the people in the story really existed or not - that is not the point. All the english reviews are from non-thai people, not knowing about thai history and how gay life was viewed 400 years ago. What I can tell you, is this script is westernized (or even the novel was), because there was no gay hate 400 years ago. All this bullshit hating queer people come from the british influence in the region. Just turn to India and you see what the brits did to them. Gay life was "prosperous" in old india but nowadays it's one of the most homophobic countries in the world. In Thailand there was no gay-hate, even the then so called "3rd gender" was not hated at all.And when a script is westerized it should reflect that in how actors are styled. Kim may be a very feminine person in real life but the team underscored his feminity in this series which is diametrical of what the script would like us believe: that to be gay was frowed at. If it was so bad in old times, he would try to hide it as best as he could - as many in europe did at that time.
I forgot to write that most Domundi productions are also heteronormalized. One character is clearly the man and the other character is clearly a woman. It's not about two gay man meeting each other.
So for me this is fundamental problem with the whole series. It's not believable for me, because I know the past was not as depicted here. The slapstick comedy did not help either. It's not "I'm the most beautiful Count". Net & Kim delivered their roles, but especially Latte was very stiff and devoid of emotions. JJ improved over the series, but he had his problems with emotional or nc-scenes. It's not bad, but also not great. The script did some stupid things, also they explained the time-travel - which I ask myself - why? It's a fairy tale, no need to explain everything but the revelation that Phob organized all of it from the future, so the past does happen - it's an infinity loop - and makes not much sense. Even when the novel did describe it that way, I would have cut it - because it's an illogical explaination. If he did it in the "now" - he could not have remembered the past, because the altering of the past did not happen - as we see in the first episode when the "history" is explained.
Production quality was mostly excellent, with some nitpicks (audio, ac running in the background), great costumes, overall the quality expected of a Domundi production. But besides that, the story was medicore, not bad, not good, production quality elevated the series a bit. At least it's better then Duang With You 😋. If you like it, that's good for you, but I did expect more.
