I can totally relate to that. I have always avoided watching American romances and I only watch american thrillers and sci fi. There was a reason for watching kdramas... it has soul and that uniqueness is lost now.

The thing about chinese xianxia and wuxia is...they are better than 90% dramas you have watched...when you start em but because they are sooo long and have filler episodes, the ratings and sometimes low. This drama should have been shorter
