so they really decided to just blatantly show SYZ’s death in the ep 20 trailer 🥲😭 I would like to know why… (I already knew he would d!e based on earlier comments from those who read the novel but I was not expecting it in the trailer lol)

just wanted to share that TES fans on Twitter (now known as X lol) have created a gif of putting LN in and releasing him out of “jail”. they have been updating it daily after the episodes to decide whether his behaviour in the particular ep gets him out of or puts him in jail. and it has been bloody hilarious 😂😭 and the best part with ep 18 today? they have sent both of them into jail 🤣

np! I know, the number of episodes for this dramas has been… a pain haha. it was originally filmed for 32 ep however due to china’s recent own restrictions on the number of ep in dramas, it has been cut to 24. I do wish they could have kept a bit more, like maybe 26 or 28 if they wanted to reduce from 32. anyway we are nearing the end now!

ep 18 has been the most frustratingly painful to watch so far lmao. if it weren’t because I want to keep up the pace for Wednesday’s express, I wouldn’t have watched it today LOL 🤡

from my understanding, the patching back together in ep 19 is after the first small break up. the big break up comes in ep 20 from the looks of it. that’s the one with the 3-4 years break

I watched this when it first came out in 2024 and have been going back to it every now and then ever since. while yes, I’m probably biased because I’m a big fan of LX, I also love this drama for its other aspects. this show just has a different vibe to it, from the OSTs to the unconventional story line and settings. and above all, can we talk about how good the cinematography was 🥹 I really appreciated ZJ’s complexity and how it was portrayed in all its rawness. CMD’s quiet charm along with how it was only ZJ who entered his heart in high school and never left. this drama isn’t like the typical idol dramas and for that, I will always have a soft and favourite spot for it

my conclusion from the ep 18 trailer - LN’s rejection to SZT’s wanting a long term future made her feel that that is how he views their relationship. this causes a build up of hidden resentment in her, which escalates into a full blown clash during their break up and the words she used while breaking up were probably how she thinks that LN thinks of their rs (probably exaggerated in her overthinking mind but yeah) 🙁
