(Disclaimer I am a drama-only, didn’t read the novel) I saw an earlier comment saying that the producers/director probably achieved what they wanted with all the various discussions going on. And yknow what, I think it might be true 😂🥲 my thoughts - in essence, many of us (keyword many, not all) don’t hate either the ML or FL. We just can’t stand their chosen approach towards each other. We also mostly understand why they did what they did. Doesn’t mean that it’s a good thing tho. Also, I initially thought that their rs was doomed to fail at first because the FL loved the ML more instead of the other way round. But I’m starting to think that maybe, just maybe, the ML actually loved more. Because the FL had tried to pull away/end things a multiple times throughout the 6 years, including in the ep 12 trailer. And it’s always the ML pulling her back in. I also can’t wait to see his post-break up yearning phase tbh 🫢 I believe now we will start to see more of the FL starting to reach her breaking point in the rs. With that being said, their rs was still doomed to end from the very beginning simply because of how their rs dynamics are aka toxic. And the only way to reconcile is for them to address that
Can I ask those who read the novel 2 questions - around which episodes do the break up and reunion happen? - for the holiday trip scenes that we seen in the trailer, do their holiday trips happen before breakup or after their reunion? TY!
The reveal of WP’s mom was a big moment but it also kinda doesn’t make sense in terms of WP and JCY’s age. Unless she had an affair from early on? Or she’s not JCY’s bio mother? But the latter doesn’t seem like it when she was talking about JCY during childhood
