He just posted he tried really hard but could not do the dubbing of his own voice in this drama. He said he swore…
I’m so sad because he received so much praise for using his original voice when the trailer came out. I just hope they choose a good voice actor whose voice suits him and sounds similar to his own 🥲 It can’t be helped, since the dubbing schedule conflicts with his current filming schedule.
It’s still only a rumor for now but since CZY himself mentioned that it will be airing soon, I think it could come out either at the end of July or in early August.
It’s such a pity that we won’t get to hear CZY’s own voice in the drama, though 🥲
There are many beauties here. I see many WCR fans prefer the Sha Lou-Zimiao pairing over the official couple.…
It’s hard to get anything right now, my friend 🥲, since they’re still filming. Maybe once filming wraps around August, we’ll finally get an official poster and teaser.
I can’t remember where I heard it, but I think this drama is actually an iQIYI project, unlike CZY’s previous dramas, which were only broadcast on iQIYI but weren’t produced under the platform.
That gives me a little hope that iQIYI will treat CZY better this time. Fated Hearts performed quite well last year and also did very well internationally, despite having such a low budget with zero promotion. iQIYI must have made a lot of profit from it. It even appeared on the iQIYI International chart during the first half of this year, even though it was released last year.

Excellent!!! I love a devoted ML much more than one who is simply cold. One of the reasons CZY is my favorite actor is that he always brings such a loving and gentle aura to his characters especially when they are around the FL. Even when he plays someone cold or distant, the way his expression softens and his eyes become so full of love whenever he looks at the female lead is just too good.
I’m looking forward to this drama even more now! 👍

I’m so confused again, LOL. Anyway, I think I saw the twins—a boy and a girl—being carried by Zhe Yuan in the Reuters footage. Does that mean they have children after getting married?
Since the story involves traveling back to the past, could they have met their past selves during the Republican era and seen themselves living as a family with children?
I love watching all these little details unfold as the story progresses. At least they keep me curious and glued to the drama! Director and scriptwriter, please don’t disappoint us 😭

The ML’s behavior in this drama is more like that of the devoted SML in a romance drama, LOL. If I’m not mistaken, he has loved her for thousands of years and has done so much for her. He stays by her side even though she still can’t forget her first love, at least according to the novel. He encourages her to keep living, proposes to her many times and openly confesses how much he loves her.
Honestly, if someone loved me that deeply, I would completely melt. It has reached the point where I just want to tell Sha Luo, “If you don’t love him, then please give him to me!” 😂
They literally filmed for months and only 30 episodes!
According to the schedule, they have already completed 78 out of 100 filming days. Usually, it takes around 120 days to film a 40-episode drama. We also know that many Chinese dramas can feel quite dragged out with filler scenes added just to reach 30–40 episodes. Still, 30 episodes seems rather short for a story covering four different eras across more than 2,000 years.
This drama is so stingy with promotional stuff. Almost zero content, and the only official still is the birthday…
At least they let our leads have some moments together during the iQIYI 717 event. They both seemed so comfortable and close, giggling with each other all the time.

Wow, I’m already confused just from reading all of this! It seems like so much happens within only 30 episodes, right? I really hope they end up adding more episodes.
Thank you for the update! Fingers crossed that the script and directing turn out well. I’m a little worried that each part might feel too short, especially since I saw CZY changing outfits several times a day. Of course, it’s very pleasing to my eyes 😂but I hope the story itself will be strong too.
Nope, as far as I know, he has no other love interest. From the moment he meets Sha Luo, he's completely head over heels for her. Meanwhile, she's still in love with the second male lead, so he's the one doing all the pining at the beginning.
I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about his previous work.
It’s such a pity that we won’t get to hear CZY’s own voice in the drama, though 🥲

They had better treat our man properly this time!

So, if that was only the first kiss scene, we still have three more to look forward to!!! Hehehe.
