I just found out that his screen time is only about 25–30%, so I’m not that excited about this drama anymore. I’ll still watch it, but I honestly don’t know what to expect.
It was his former manager who didn’t screen the project properly before handing it to him. I really hope the new manager will do what needs to be done from now on.
He would go back to Shenzhen to stay with his mom, but he’s still in Beijing. I’m not sure if he’ll go back during this Western New Year but he usually returns home for Chinese New Year.
Yes, please! But I'm hoping he'll be with a female lead with an unproblematic fan base. 🤞
But for now, let’s just watch Yuanyuan with Jingyi first, I can’t wait. Their behind the scenes moments are so sweet. They laugh a lot together and Yuanyuan clearly loves teasing her and making her laugh. It’s so cute. They’re obviously having such a great time filming the drama together. Ahhhh, I want to watch it ASAP!

Oh my god, this! I understand why top billing is such a huge issue in China and why fans get so anxious about it. Actors often get insulted for taking second billing even when they’re clearly the ML or FL like, WTF?
Why is this even a thing in the first place? Whoever invented this nonsense deserves a special place in hell for forcing actors to live with so much unnecessary stress. Instead of worrying about the script or the quality of the production team, the first thing they have to worry about is whether they’ll get top billing or not… seriously.
Even Bai Lu mentioned in a recent interview that because of this ridiculous, pain-in-the-ass billing system, she can’t work with some actors she wants to collaborate with(I wonder who, LOL). The queen said it out loud, so brave! Love her (just not her idiot, big-mouth boss!).

Haha, I’m getting really tired of fan wars 😑 They seem to spread from Weibo to MDL and show up in so many threads. It’s honestly terrifying.
K-dramas don’t really have this kind of issue. They’re much more professional, no spreading nonsense rumors before a drama even airs. The cast is officially announced and there’s no need to argue over who’s first or second, it’s just ML and FL, the storyline, and that’s it.
Can yuanyuan act in more modern romance dramas? I really miss seeing him in modern dramas 🥲 He could totally still do a college drama even at 29, hahaha. Cute yuanyuan.
I hope it's true. I'm very looking forward to TQZ. He has to have CZY's voice.
It would be hard for me to watch his drama without his real voice and the production team would also benefit from not having to pay a voice actor for his character, so they should ask him to do the dubbing himself.
There’s 🍉 about his dramas being released next year, but as always, nothing is confirmed yet. March – Chasing Dreams August – Jiang Shan Wei Pin There is no news about other two dramas.
He’s also currently reviewing scripts for his next role, but his priority is to take on lighter work while recovering from surgery before accepting any new drama. That’s why he’s participating in VS instead, as it doesn’t require intense physical movement. Rather than resting at home, he still prefers to keep working.
That’s what I’ve gathered from Weibo over the past few days.
He was highly praised for his exceptional line delivery in Fated Hearts. I know the process of dubbing his voice…
Voice acting is another form of acting and I believe it’s something he would truly enjoy doing unless there’s some reason preventing him from doing it. It’s also beneficial for the production team, as they wouldn’t need to hire a separate voice actor to dub his lines, so why not?
From the clips I’ve seen of FH, he had to recreate the same performance and re-imagine the entire scene again in a small studio. He really put so much effort into it, truly admirable for someone born in Shenzhen with a Mandarin–Cantonese accent. Dubbing is not easy when you grow up with a regional accent, let alone delivering powerful voice acting, which is why many actors from this area usually rely on voice actors.
As for JSWP, his voice in the clips is already strong even without dubbing. I really hope he’ll dub it himself too.
Speaking of accents, I’m always fascinated by how some Hollywood actors who were born in England can speak like native Americans in the movies. That level of professionalism is truly impressive. When I later saw clips of them speaking with their real accents, I was like, “Have you been lying to me this whole time?” 😂

The CZY drought is so real, man!

Let’s wait for Yuanyuan’s new dramas together… yay 😆

C-ent is really exhausting in this regard…

Maybe I should pray harder 😁
