He will be attending the China Film Gala on December 18 in Chengdu, though I’m not exactly sure what the event focuses on, films or movies?
Anyway, I hope he has more time to rest. He’s usually in Beijing these days, and maybe he’s there for the dubbing of Chasing Dreams?!! Otherwise, when he doesn’t have work, he usually goes back to his hometown in Shenzhen.
I really want to hear his voice again in a historical drama 😭 Based on General Tang’s character, he might soften his voice a little compared to FSG. I can’t wait.
There are rumours that zheyuan started doing dubbing for this drama. One of the reason i watch his dramas. His…
I hope it’s true as well. It would be such a pity if CZY doesn’t dub his own voice, his voice is unique, and his line delivery is very good. He ended up dubbing his own voice in FH because the director asked him to do it, as the production didn’t have much budget for dubbing LOL. Otherwise, no one might have discovered that he’s actually quite good at it. Even he wasn’t sure he could do it at first but CZY always tries to improve himself. It’s quite a risk, after all if an actor’s line delivery isn’t good, they can easily get criticized.
Chen Zhe Yuan is finally free from this shitty production. He shared a post on weibo announcing wrap day and only…
Thank you so much for speaking up for CZY. I’m still rooting for this drama to turn out well as both leads have already put in a lot of effort. Let’s put those things aside and enjoy the drama together 😊
It’s better to wait for the official announcement, for CZY’s sake. There are so many drama rumors on Weibo…
They slander him because he has potential and they feel threatened by his abilities. If he were just an actor with no popular works, who would even care about him? They wouldn’t even know who he is, right?
I’ve seen many popular actors and actresses get heavily slandered online because insulting someone popular seems “cooler” than insulting someone unknown, no one would care about that. When a popular figure is attacked, many hyenas immediately jump on the bandwagon, if you know what I mean.
The more popular someone becomes, the more public attention they attract both love and hate. Human nature!!! It’s better to ignore it if you can or stay in spaces you enjoy, avoiding toxicity is also a very good idea.
i wonder what are those commercial Photoshoot(new or old)🤔🤔🤔
It’s not mentioned in the post or anywhere else. Guess we’ll know eventually. For The variety show recording, is rumored to be Great Detective, the same show CZY joined last year.
I just hope that the cast and production team involve gets a fat bonus this kind of show wont be possible if not…
Apart from all the actors and actresses, the screenwriter is the real MVP, if you ask me. Most historical chinese dramas have slow pacing and rely on filler plots to stretch the episode count but FH is different. The screenwriter clearly put a great deal of effort into the story and some elements feel truly refreshing, things we don’t often see in political costume dramas.
Ofc, credit also goes to the director who brought everything together with excellent storytelling. The costume design is very well done too. I’m glad that CZY had the opportunity to work with such a good production team. LQ is beautiful and elegant and she convincingly portrays the female general role. She’s a very good leading lady for Yuanyuan and he can learn a lot from working with her. Not to mention, both FD are harmonized to protect the show together, So the rumor that Yuanyuan and Yuanbao are always fighting over first billing isn’t really true. We respect them as long as they also respect us.
The only disappointing part overall is iQiyi which ignored and buried such a good drama. Yet the very drama they overlooked climbed back into the Top 5 on the Yunhe chart after two months, just like FSG coming back from the dead after the villain tried to bury him in FH 😂

Exactly! Wise words once again from Yuanbao! 🥰 To be honest, I don’t see the point of comparing K-actors and C-actors. They come from different generations, environments and countries, so their careers don’t really overlap or compete in things like drama awards anyway 😅
By the way, ZRY is also one of my favorite actors. I watched JOL and really loved his character. Liking CZY doesn’t mean I can’t admire other actors too 😓

😁😁😁 I really like it. You’re absolutely right, it will definitely help. 😉
According to Google AI, the benefits of meditation include: “Meditation offers extensive benefits, primarily reducing stress, anxiety, and negative emotions, while enhancing focus, emotional regulation, memory, and creativity. By training the brain to be less reactive and more present, it promotes better sleep, lower blood pressure, improved heart health, and greater self-awareness and compassion. It can also physically alter brain structures by increasing gray matter in areas related to memory and empathy, while reducing activity in the amygdala, the brain’s stress center.”
Fated Hearts will also be broadcast on South Korea’s tv channel, following the pre-purchase of its VOD rights at USD 150,000 per episode, totaling USD 6 million.
For a low-budget A+ drama, it seems to be generating quite a lot of profit first by selling the broadcast rights to Hong Kong’s TVB, and now to a South Korean channel as well. Good for the production team!
This really shows the long-tail effect of a good drama even more than two months after it finished airing. Meanwhile, the #1–#3 spots are held by currently airing dramas. I’d also like to congratulate Yu Shuxin and He Yu’s Dual Track for breaking 10,000, as well as Cheng Yi’s new drama for breaking 10,000 too (based on the charts).
Dobi working his magic Light work with a few breaks in between i like this schedule enough visibility of Yuan…
Thank you for letting me know. You became one of his fans because you like his dramas. Many people like to say that he’s popular only because of his looks (personally, he’s not my type of handsome, I’m usually more drawn to a Western look), but in reality, many fans don’t like him just for that. It’s because of the characters he plays in his dramas. His real self doesn’t overlap with any of the characters he portrays at all.
Including me, I like him because I enjoy watching him in dramas, and after that, I also came to like his personality.
It’s better to wait for the official announcement, for CZY’s sake. There are so many drama rumors on Weibo…
You can open it in Chrome, there’s a built-in feature to translate the website into English. I can’t read Chinese either, so I always use Chrome to help translate it for me. This is actually the first time I’ve invested this much as a fan of an actor I like LOL.

I don’t think it’s necessary to mention this here. The OP didn’t say anything about him being better or more talented than others and as CZY’s fans, no one here is bragging about him being ranked No. 1 or asking everyone to send him flowers. You can read back through the comments to see that.
The number of flowers simply reflects fans who choose to spend money on him, it’s not because he’s an Oscar winner or anything like that. I do agree with you about those actors as well, they deserve recognition for their talent. However, it’s also not CZY’s fault if other talented actors don’t receive as many flowers as they deserve.
Ultimately, it depends on whether fans are willing to support and spend money on them, just like with any popularity award. CZY’s fans are trying to stay low-key, and we don’t go around bragging about it or discrediting other actors. At the same time, we don’t want to be told that he shouldn’t rank highly or that he doesn’t deserve it compared to other talented actors. Simply put, these rankings are based on fan support, not the actor alone. If someone chooses him as their favorite, it could be because of his looks (which I don’t think are objectively better than others), or his acting yes, as you said, he may not be the most outstanding but there’s something about him or his dramas that makes people like him. It’s really that simple and easy to understand.

I understand. It’s better to avoid those haters. They dislike him simply because they think he’s quite popular, that’s all. They judge other people’s favorites just because their tastes are different and in the end, it comes down to envy over how much love he receives. It’s just human nature.
And yes, he has antis in China too. Almost every artist does, especially rising stars.
Anyway, I hope he has more time to rest. He’s usually in Beijing these days, and maybe he’s there for the dubbing of Chasing Dreams?!! Otherwise, when he doesn’t have work, he usually goes back to his hometown in Shenzhen.
