I’m not sure whether it can really be called a flop, because that depends on which charts you’re referring…
It’s probably better not to get too involved in the mess of C-ent.
Just stay low-key and like our CZY🙂

How about WCR and CZY going on vacation together just to annoy those WCR fans who are desperate to ship her with DK? 🤣🤣

I honestly thought it would turn out much worse than this, lol.

But honestly feel bad for the WCR the mess in overdo and now she is injured 🥹. And it looks painfull
WCR is so overworked. I’ve even seen her looking unwell in some filming Reuters.
While shooting the drama, she also has to attend brand promotions, promote her drama, record variety shows, and then rush back to continue filming again! 😨

I don’t know whether her agency is pushing her too hard but this beautiful girl seriously needs some proper rest too.

Yeah, I honestly have no idea whether these numbers are considered good or just average there. So let’s keep our expectations low and simply say they’re average for now 🙃

Now it has already reached 760 million views on Mango TV but even if it surpasses one billion, no one will care anyway. So what? 🤣

Although there are similar landscapes in several other dramas which were filmed either in Tengger desert in Yinchuan…
Yes, exactly! On top of that, it takes highly skilled professional editors and visual-effects artists to make green-screen scenes look realistic and convincing.
That level of work usually requires a top-tier production team or even movie-level production quality.

Can i know why is the cinematic is abit dull like it is recorded long time ago
This production company is still quite new to drama production, so the editing can feel a little choppy at times, although the drama is still watchable.
All the desert scenery was also created using green screens rather than filmed on location because they apparently couldn’t afford to shoot there even though China has so many beautiful desert landscapes.

So honestly, the overall quality is about what you would expect from a production team with such limited budget and experience.

You’re not wrong, Weibo and Douyin aren’t charity platforms and those marketing accounts need to get paid to make a living too 😂
That’s why I’ve learned to treat all of this as a joke.

The drama barely gets any attention on social media, so its chart performance is based almost entirely on the drama itself rather than online hype.

Soon, my friend, soon... CZY will finally be free from this mess, probably around mid-August. His fans are already…
It’s still just a rumor but this time it actually came from CZY himself although he might have been joking. When fans asked him on Weibo whether he could choose a modern idol drama for his next role, he replied, “Does a modern non-idol drama count?” LOL.

I honestly can’t tell whether he was just trolling his fans or if he’s genuinely considering one 😅

iQIYI and Tencent don’t disclose their actual view counts. Instead, they use these so-called “heat indexes,” and who even knows exactly how those numbers are calculated?

All platforms should use the same transparent measurement criteria if they want the competition to be fair, similar to how Netflix reports its viewing data.

However, even view counts can be artificially inflated through multiple devices or paid boosting. We all know how common fake data and manipulated statistics can be in China.

In this AI era, platforms should use AI-based detection systems to identify and remove suspicious or fraudulent viewing activity if they genuinely want their numbers to reflect real audiences.

He’ll rest first and honestly, just let him rest.
His schedule has been packed every single day and the poor guy needs time to recover and survive too.

Hi! What do you think about today's leaks? What exactly happened? I saw Shalu blocking Ao Chi, and both of them…
That’s why I’m wondering why some WCR fans want the same thing to happen again, messing up the script just for the sake of the CP ??

But trust me, no one cares. They only care about heat indexes, popularity rankings, and all that nonsense. Then they’ll call the drama a flop simply because the production team didn’t pay hundreds of marketing accounts to hype it up on Weibo and other Chinese social media platforms.

I’m already used to this whenever it comes to CZY’s dramas.
Fated Hearts was the most-viewed historical drama on the iQiyi International app last year and it even remained in the platform’s (Inter) top five during the first half of this year. Yet hardly anyone talks about that achievement because there weren’t 800+ marketing accounts got paid to hyping it up.

Now the same thing is happening again. This drama can reach nearly 700 million views with only 13 episodes on the Mango TV app and achieve around a 0.5% rating on satellite TV, yet barely any marketing accounts promote those results because they weren’t paid to do so.

If this were another actor’s drama, they would be announcing and celebrating these numbers for two days and two nights 🤣

This is exactly why the Chinese drama industry is such a mess. At this point, its downfall would be entirely self-inflicted, they just keep shooting themselves in the foot.

I feel so sorry for WCR. Her character in her recent drama was heavily criticized by the audience because of how messy the script was, and now her fans actually want the same kind of messy writing to happen again in Fusheng?

I’m not even sure whether Fusheng will reach a heat index of 10,000 and even if it does, then what? I’m honestly so tired of this so-called heat index. “Flop this, flop that,” as if every drama needs to surpass 10,000 to be considered successful and is the good one.

People seem to care only about the numbers instead of whether the drama is actually good or simply popular because of all the hype.
