I agree; they're just not in an "official relationship."
She’s even okay with everyone at the company knowing he’s pursuing her. It’s a welcome change from a typical situation where leads hide their relationship.
No offense to other actors, but ZJM is literally outacting everyone in this drama 😭 Like, she’s basically…
Sigh… when people offer opinions like that, I just find it easiest to block them. We can say many things about this drama (or any other drama), but going so hard against an actress is uncalled for.
Based on the initial episodes, it wasn’t my type. But I gave it a chance, and I was wrong. It’s genuinely…
Someone mentioned that it’s possible that episode per day count is impacted by sponsorship (more sponsorship money, more episodes per day). But I think many dramas go do 1 episode per day on some days so it’s not that unusual here. Sigh… still, it’s going to be a long wai 🥺
It’s not really trope-y. Both leads are relatively rich (even though they don’t flaunt it). ML isn’t so…
Yes, this a 100%! I actually enjoyed watching AYTO a second time around because knowing events and backstory allowed me to focus more on characters. It was more clear that FL feared ML fell in love with fake her (domestic goddess) and may not love the true her… Anyway, that’s a drama I periodically rewatch when I get annoyed with screenwriting of other dramas 😬
Watch beginning of episode 1 — ML’s friend convinces ML to come to Wuxi (FL’s hometown) because FL has been…
Yes, that’s why initially ML didn’t have a positive impression of FL until they got to know each other more.
And don’t feel bad — for the first 2-3 days I thought ML’s friend was FL’s cousin until someone in the comments mentioned otherwise (they look a bit similar) 😳🥺
Can someone who has read the novel please tell me why he was so mad at her at the beginning? Some comments below…
Watch beginning of episode 1 — ML’s friend convinces ML to come to Wuxi (FL’s hometown) because FL has been asking about ML (meaning, she wanted to meet him and is interested in him). Then ML got into an accident while driving over there (shown in Ep. 1) but FL didn’t come visit him in a hospital even once (flashback shown in a later episode). So ML is confused why only a year later FL has no memory of him and he has a somewhat negative impression of her because she didn’t visit him in a hospital even though he was driving up to meet her. Now, by now you may be able to guess what really happened, but we can spoil it for you if you want :)
At this rate, I think someone should chase ML to make the FL understand that he (ML) is a not a pushover and she…
For all intents and purposes, they are already dating (doing all the typical things couples do) but haven’t made it official yet. But events in the teasers will probably serve as the final push
From what I've read from other commenters XG doesn't pay the father or the mistress's daughter any mind, thank…
The other woman’s daughter wants others to think that she’s FL’s dad’s real daughter and that’s why she’s implying/hinting at that (you can tell from the conversation between her “friends”). That gives her more legitimacy compared to admitting she’s a nobody, not even an illegitimate daughter.
