Han Li is an RPG/action-adventure character who loves looting and has very high Alchemy skills 😁

It’s very entertaining, especially starting with episode 3 (1 & 2 are setting up everything and don’t have as much action). CGI isn’t great but the plot is entertaining and everything moves at a quick pace. You also have to keep in mind this is NOT a romance drama — any romance is secondary to cultivation (main character’s quest to achieve immortality).

Drama is made by the same team as donghua (based on BTS video) so maybe that’s why it feels similar.

Yes, only ep. 11. But next we will have two episodes— 12 & 13.

The part about endings is true. But — in general — writers of too many dramas come up with convoluted ways to make shows longer. That maybe way the government (?) now is setting limits on episode count.

What’s even worse, she doesn’t know about Oblivion Pill, so the only way to preserve her reputation is to un-alive Han Li 😆

MDL tag is wrong. There’s very little romance in original novel and in donghua. Most of the focus is on hero’s journey. Same looks to be true for the drama too.

(This drama is based on the novel) The leads haven’t really interacted much. Per readers, even the novel (and animated version) are more focused on character’s journey than romance. But as another commenter said, FL is his official wife.

Maybe the novel goes into that. But — if you notice — the daughters were about the same age, so conceivably he only need 1-2 years to have 3 of them given multiple wives.

People got married very young back then, so he could have probably started to have kids at 15-16.

It was 4 wives (out of 5 total; one was missing - they skipped a number so that drew my attention) + 3 daughters (2 vain daughters + 1 nice one who saved him).

Those are independent events. And it’s not like ML killed FOR the token — it was just a bonus after dispatching a bad guy who was trying to do bad things. Plus, the other disciple didn’t know the circumstances, so he was just doing that out of jealousy.
