Those scenes were actually pretty nice; I’d not skip them, but it’s a personal preference.

First two episodes were very good but you can always end until the end of the series and then check out full reviews. Like others said, 8.3 is pretty normal to start (MDL has a glitch with early reviews and also early on is when dramas get hammered by haters/trolls); many dramas even drop below 8 before slowly recovering. There’s no way 9.7 is even remotely possible. The top drama on MDL has 9.3 rating (it was 9.4 for a very long time before dropping); there’s one 9.2 drama and a small number of 9.1 dramas.

First two episodes were pretty light, but this is a K-drama so I’m sure there will be an episode or two towards the end where the leads will go through something hard.

We don’t know for sure yet. It could be Queen Mother or simply no one in particular. The event was held at that hotel so it’s possible that paparazzi were there and made up a story.

I see your point but, at least, to be compared to IU is a huge compliment to anyone. But BIBI has some lighter songs for sure, very talented 🥰😎

They need to find him a good woman — definitely not Queen Mother. For now the couples are FL+ML and probably their assistants.

I don’t think she was responsible for the original fire. There seems to be some sort of a conspiracy (anti monarchists?) against the royal family because clearly the two fires are related

That show is great and still holds up. Might be best action scenes after My Name (haven’t watched Bloodhounds yet though).

Ha, so true for Our Universe. At least, that 2ML was actually helpful to FL. But definitely not enough time spent on the main couple’s relationship and too much time on non relevant storylines like ML’s dad or the misadventures of getting approved as the guardian. I still enjoyed Dynamite Kiss out of those three, but you can clearly tell me a show was written by talented team (like “Can This Love Be Translated”) versus people just trying to cram as many storylines as possible into a drama and ultimately ending up with subpar results 🙄😳

2MLs were especially annoying in Positively Yours (waste of screen time when it was FL+2ML) and in Dynamite Kiss. By the end of Dynamite Kiss we weren’t even sure we wanted 2FL to end up with 2ML, lol (but Positively Yours 2ML is probably the most diskliked in recent memory).

I am more likely to believe she is carrying a royal baby then that she’s involved in money laundering. That was probably to scare the guy off. But yes, you are right. She probably has a backup plan for herself too

Hope so! There’s been too many recent K-dramas with annoying 2MLs 😳

In K2 it wasn’t a romantic tension but there definitely was a great tension between the ML and 2FL. And I think by the end we all sympathized with 2FL even though she (…. spoiler…). Like that was a great performance by 2FL actress

If we are all confused watching this, imagine how the actors felt. Before every scene director must have spent a bunch of time telling me what their character was in that scene and their motivations 😁🤣

haha… I’m saving all my complains for the finale in case everyone has a tragic ending 🤣
