I actually find this show funny and can laugh. Curious what is cringe humour to you? I found My Golden Blood very cringe and the camp didnt work for me - saw no humour. Obviously so many enjoyed it but I could not hang on even if paid. Funny how we all view cringe differently

Promotion drives a shows success, but in Thai bl industry, a strong the fan base of the leading actors is another factor. If the fans love the actors they accept anything it seems. I am reading comments made by fans drooling and discussing various shows, the actors, particular scenes and im scratching my head wondering if I am watching the same show as they are. Objectively most thai bl shows aren't that good or original and rely on well outworn tropes. (not trying to insult - but they have less budget and resources )
GMM is like the McDonalds of the bl series -in output and quality. I acknowledge their success but I am not a fan. I am rooting for DMD and other smaller companies because it will mean variety at least, instead of the same formulaic bl series.
Sometimes you really can enjoy a McDonalds - but you know its junk food. I personally oved THK because it made me laugh - and I found Style hilarious. Im not saying it was better then the other shows you mentioned but it hit the spot for me. Problem is that most people see McDonalds as food and don't recognise it as junk food - meant to indulge in once in a while.
Hope they keep producing such quality going into future.
