I have no idea what you're talking about, but I doubt there will be anything dark.
maybe RoRoow and others here who argue that its not going to be dark actually know the story better then Prem or Boun. Please stop quoting source material, the actors, and the authors of the script/novel. /s
I have read one of the books and Knights mother is the current wife. Pers mother was the first wife ( divorced)…
i read one of the books and knights mother was currently married to Per /Knights father. Knight is the younger brother, so it would also make sense that his mother is the new wife. (if both had been married to father) Maybe they changed it in the tv drama .
I have the same questions and this is what I wrote last week.Episode 5 left me furious and heartbroken, and I…
Same in the UK - there is hardly any reporting. Reynhard Sinaga made headlines. About two weeks ago, I had only read of one man being raped on a residential road in London. The other time I had read about it was bullying and rapes in the army and suicides. Im sure there were no convictions for those involved.
I had read an article in the guardian (a few years ago) which I cant find now about a mans ( a police officer I think) experience with being raped and that was heart wrenching. As a female, I had never though much about male rape (didn't think it happened - apart from prison) or considered it from a male perspective until that article/opinion story. I had not heard of bls then either.
Rape isn't taken seriously if you look at how the law (not punishing_ and society (blaming victims) looks at it. So it kind of annoys me when everyone gets so uptight about fictional characters "toxic" behaviour but in the real world not much is done to change laws, and perceptions. People still make jokes about rape in prison.

Male rape has even more stigma attached - even in the west. But it is more common to report. In the UK just less of 1% of reported rapes are successfully convicted so its depressing.
I agree with your guess about where the plot is going. I have also seen the trope where a person is blamed for something they didn't do way to often.

Thanks for explaining I Agree that I would also call the police and let justice take its course.
Im not jumping to conclusions as that is what they intend for us to do. So Im not assuming it was Knight yet, but its terrible story telling by making things so confusing. The plot is not "plotting" but I dont know if the book is bad or the series is badly done.
"If Mild didnt know - then how did they know it happened?" So they watched the rape take place while Mild was sleeping. That is so f*cked. And its worse that nobody called the police or took Mild to doctors for examination/testing. Mild has a right to know.
"Milds brother gave the girl permission to expose the truth" And if Mild blanked it out due to PTSD then the brother has a duty to let him know he is dating his rapist for his own safety. I wouldn't forgive the brother for not telling the truth.
(I had written a (first) review of this hot mess about 2 weeks ago & the first comment too but both got taken…
What was the original plot?
So many questions because its so illogical. 1. How come Milds rape was a revelation to Mild at the party, when his brother friends told him why his brother hates Knight. 2. Was Mild not aware he was raped/ sexually assaulted - but everyone else knew. 3. Why did everyone else knows it was Knight -but not Mild. Why is everyone else aware of Milds rape but not Mild 4. Why didnt his brother tell him about Knight (and rape) when he saw Mild getting involved with Knight 5. Why weren't the police involved when incident happened
Im not sure what I am missing. The plot does not make any sense.
Mild had no clue why his brother and Knight are fighting.
1. So Mild was raped/ sexually assaulted in the past. How come this was a revelation to him at the party when his brother friends told him why his brother hates Knight. 2. Was Mild not aware he was raped/ sexually assaulted - but everyone else knew. 3. Why did Mild not know who it was but - everyone else knows it was Knight
Also if there was a rape at the party - why weren't the police involved?
And if his brother knew that Knight assaulted Mild (but Mild didnt???) then why didnt he tell Mild instead of letting him get involved with Knight.
Not Ramil watching My Golden Blood on TV, lol..... *sigh* I hope this series gets darker. I feel rather misled…
Unfortunately i think this is what we are getting.
I get your disappointment. I wanted something darker as well. Irrespective, I enjoyed this and the comedy even if it wasn't something i initially asked for.
Some people have said that in an interview Boun ( the writer) mentioned it does get more dark .
"but they have no information to confirm that the audience prefers slapstick comedy to a more serious series"I…
Im just used to british actors and that level of acting. It doesnt compare to thai bl actors. British actors tend to have gone to theatre school, they are professionals, and have trained for years to perfect their craft. Thai actors are amateurs in comparison (generally speaking)
EDIT - if the thai actors had gone to drama school they would have been equally as good. Its jus that most thai bl actors have studied engineering, medicine, communications etc. They are not actors. ALSO you are the ones bringing up thai bl actors inability to act. Im fine with their acting as most of it is good enough.

Do watch really bl dramas for the Shakespearean level acting - then poor you. Your taste must not be that refined. Frankly Im happy with the level of acting in Thai bls as most of it is competent enough.
But if you think thai bl actors are at the same level as say a british trained actor that has gone to theatre school and perfected their craft over years then you are deluded. Most thai bl actors have studied engineering, medicine, etc. They cant compete.
I watch bls for fun and entertainment, for actors I like, and the stories. I dont watch for brilliant acting, scripts, cinematography .
But hey if you can only argue about acting then you have failed to make your point.
I disagree. ppl complained about The Next Prince and Fourever You.
You said: "i dont agree keng is handsome"
That is very random. lol - are you seriously arguing that Keng is ugly? You are most certainly welcome to find anybody you chose not handsome or handsome. That is the wonderful thing about taste - it can be subjective.
PS I assume you are talking about Keng Harit Buayoi? Also out of curiosity why did you bring him up and feel the need to share that you find him ugly?
Im actually interested to know (and learn) what stood out for you as horrible writing?
How would you have done it differently then.

The book dealing with Per/kan has been translated and is free on wattpad.
Maybe they changed it in the tv drama .

If you like slapstick go watch a show like " lovely runner" and discuss it there. Its more appropriate.

The three you mentioned are amongst my favourites - and most certainly Gunn can act.
Seriously most of the thai bl actors are good enough for the shows. You are the ones finding fault with the acting and demanding Shakespeare quality.
EDIT - if the thai actors had gone to drama school they would have been equally as good. Its jus that most thai bl actors have studied engineering, medicine, communications etc. They are not actors.
