Dont get me wrong, I can appreciate camp -" unforgotten nights" does it right unintentionally. But MGB was immature, embarrassing and boring.

Actors are good. There is real kissing. Story was good but could have been clearer about projection of twins
So Chan created another version of the person Seo in his mind.
-Maybe one version that has different traits OR
-A version representing Seo in the past (another person mentioned this below)

Does DMD/ production company also get the money from fan meetups, and brand deals for actors. I thought that actors made money by doing those things as I had heard that they dont get paid a lot per series.

Do you perhaps know how much they spent per episode on Khemjira?
I heard they also spent a lot. I dont know how popular the actors were or are - but its a bigger risk if fandom is not there. (i dont follow fandom much - and im in UK so no knowledge about Thai fandoms).
I calculated that TNP was roughly £190k per episode ( counted last episode as 2) which is considerable if an average bl episode costs £40k (all very very rough estimates)

I limit my 10s to shows that made me feel something - resonated or provided a message. They dont need to be technically brilliant. But i try to limit to 5-10% of shows watched.

I see a lot of people give ratings of 10 to like over 50% of the shows they watch. I find that strange and sometimes I wish I loved that many shows as much as they do.

lol thanks but you really dont need to adjust it. If you dont like it and you feel it deserves a 1 then its okay as well. People have diff tastes. I just found rating system unusual.

lol I fully expected to dislike the show as i had watched TNP (same company) and then when i started watching this i was thinking to myself how cute is Namping and then the story dragged me in and then I also saw Khem so here we are.

I have seen users give 90% of the shows they watch a 10. I vote subjectively (not as critic) - but limit the 10 to shows I really loved watching or made me feel or think something. Like I know that Between Us does not deserve a 10 but love the story and couple and how it made me feel.

I do give 1 but its very personal - like I really hated something about it.
-It wasted my time promising a good story and ending a lakorn (i should hate myself for falling for it and i have),
- stereotyped ethnicities/religions
-if an actor supported genocide etc - i vote against actor.

Its strange when people vote 1 for shows they are viewing and have seen just 1 episode and still deciding. To me a 1 is very personal and strong dislike. Its not indifference.

Its interesting to see how people vote and what they say. If you rated this show a 10 or a 1 then you are either a fan or antifan. A lot of people give shows 10 very generously - which is fine, But you can also see who the haters are. Its problematic when the account is new -that shows manipulation with 10s or 1s.

It took me a while to figure it out as others talked about it.

I know I didnt like TNP but if you look at my ratings for Cutie Pie they are a 6 and a 7.
I am biased against TNP (production, crazy fandom) but I dont hate ZNN - I just did not like them in TNP.
Funny that I was expecting to not like Khemjira as well.

Its fine to be open and to challenge - I agree 100% that a lot of fans are giving Khemjira a 10 and so are lots of the reviews after just 1 episode. It doesn't deserve a 10 - but its personal taste and bias. Some fans give everything they like a 10. I would give something a 10 if it hits the right spot for me even if its not brilliant (Between Us - loved it and couple).
The thing is that for TNP - a lot of NEW ACCOUNTS with no history gave TNP a 10.

I am open enough to admit that i have rated Khemjira a 9 (because others rating it low) but will adjust it a bit lower in 8s I think if it maintains quality.

I did not know that TNP was being hated . Why was there such a strong dislike and which fandoms hated TNP to downvote it?
When TNP started most people were loving the show and the ratings were around 8.4 so thats whey I wasn't aware.

I didn't pay much attention to TNP because I find the topic of royalty cringe. I would have ignored TNP and not watched it BUT i started watching it because i become interested in the ratings and behaviour of fans. There was an article on reddit discussing how TNP fans were downrating RESTART.
As a financial and data analyst I started counting ratings etc. And i started disliking the TNP fans so i was biased.

I dont understand fandoms so well so initially I thought TNP fans would like Khemjira because they are on the same team so to speak. How wrong i was.

I agree that my analysis was only based on certain limited metrics.

Reasons for investing differ and there are so many other factors that I could not consider which would make it very viable project And it may be a very profitable project for the company. (I hope it is)
