The story is cute. The problem is the editing and how its told. I was lost for the first few episodes. So I found it annoying.
The nc parts do make up for it if you persevere.

Its worth a watch.

Read the top review from "lotsoftimewasted" (got +530 likes) on the dramas MDL page - that compelled me to watch it. That review had me crying with laughter.

While viewing, read the reddit posts for each episode. You will enjoy it more that way.
Its unintentionally funny.

Are you well in the head thinking you have the right to dictate what the authors should write about? Should your subjective morals and sense of right and wrong be the judge of what is permitted. Seriously who do you think you are ? There is a lot of hypocrisy in your morals.

Obviously, you dont have a problem with physical violence and murder in a romance. Is rape worse than murder? KinnPorcshe and The Heartkillers were adult romantic bls with violence (and some rape in one of them). And they get away with it.

We all have our subjective morals - I avoid violence of any kind but I dont dictate that others can watch or write about. I recognise that it is a work of fiction and there is creativity and that some stories should be told irrespective if I approve or not.

I am busy watching them on You Are My So(ul) Mate (YouTube) and they are noth so good together. I hope to see them in other bls.

so you want to censor dramas to only include plots that you morally approve of. Do you not have a problem with violence or murder in dramas - did you refuse to watch KinnPorcshe or say The Heartkillers. wtf

Maybe you can contact the writer and tell them how to write the story and what not to include. Maybe there are other issues with the plot that your and others want censored. wtf

Unforgettable night was just so terrible in all criteria - that its in a league of its own.
From the bad acting, the ad placements (serving tea on tray with package), the cgi (tiger), the plot, the dialogue. It sets a standard. Its watching a train crash but you keep on looking. . . you are not going to find something like that so easily.

I dont think you got it right.

I think that Haejo believed that he and Jaemi were born under unlucky stars and were cursed. He left her because he did not feel worthy - or deserving of happiness and belonging. (They both felt abandoned - If I remember- Jaemi is also looking for her mother trying to understand why she was given away).

Years later, at the hospital when he finds out he is dying, he accidently sees her just when she has received news that she cant have kids. He wants to spend the last few months with her, and finding his biological father.

Anyway, Woo Do Hwan is a brilliant actor - sometimes I am distracted by his looks and forget how well he can act.

Iol I would probably agree with your three-paragraphs and would love to read them. But in fair warning - I do think people here will gaslight you - and make you question your own perception and reality.

I am kind of envious of those who are enjoying this as they seem to be having so much fun. (i read the posts on reddit).

I have just started this. Its hilarious so far (watched 2 episodes) .
Okay its not a masterpiece but its enjoyable, and the low ratings are not justified.
Ignore the reviews and watch it for laughs.

Im not rating the show on MDL because its not fair to those that enjoy it.

I have tried to watch it but cant buy into it - the plot, the couple, the chemistry. I find it camp and cant take it seriously. (If it was as bad as Unforgettable night I possibly could have enjoyed it).

Edit: Just to add - I am currently watching "OMG Vampire" and loving that show.

When you watched KinnPorcshe or The Heart Killers do you make a point of letting people know that its not okay to kill because its literally murder. I also think you should warn people and vampires that its not okay to drink human blood.

Loved the actors - particularly Latte. It could have been so much better with a tighter script. Latte and Almond are so cute.
I also loved Almonds mom. She was so funny and I wished they had used her more.
8.5 for pure enjoyment

I am in the process of finishing up my Thai bl marathon (embarrassed to admit that I watched about 80). There is something about the absurdity and silliness of Thai bls. So many "I cant believe they did that moments" and they make me laugh a lot. I don't think any other country could have produced a classic like say "Unforgotten Night" .

Will explore other countries bl and ill focus on new higher quality Thai ones with "good visuals " - and that most certainly includes My Stubborn.

I would highly recommend.

I liked Aits golden retriever energy - but agree with others that he was selfish and immature. My favourite was Bas and Marco. Impressed with the acting and story. It feels realistic and prefer these type of more substantial stories rather than school fluffy cutesy type bls.

Although it was low budget - it was competent. It was better than a lot of other higher budget bls.

Sorry to inform you but you have lost a lot of brain cells by watching most of the Thai bl dramas. Most of them are ridiculous but I still love them.

People are being too harsh. I enjoyed it. The story is good. At least its not set in a school.

People get upset with toxic behaviour - but this is fiction. Stop being so self righteous trying to censor behaviour you dont approve off. The writers are allowed to create characters that are not perfect. That makes a story have interesting twists - because perfect characters would wrap up series in about 3 episodes.
I dont know why people get upset with toxic behaviour yet they are okay with murder and violence eg KinnPorcshe, Heart killers (I loved both of these as well). Its fiction. I have more of a problem with physical violence is glorified.

Issues with series:
The subtitles were not the best. Terrible actually
I think the acting could have been better.

EDIT - its on Viki so the subtitles would be much improved (I watched it elsewhere)
