I am with you. I thought the first couple of episodes were interesting as we are introduced to the environment and characters. Its new. After that it become boring because i didn't really care. I watched it on double speed.

If the first few episodes don't interest you I would not bother. I find a lot of Korean shows are hyped up but not always that good and becomes ridiculous as episodes progress eg When the phone rings , Queen of tears. There are some that are excellent that draw me in (Love in the big city, Mr Plankton, Coffee prince).

Ultimately its a taste, if it does not draw you in, watch something else.

He is not a bad actor. Stop being a spiteful individual. Compared to most bl actors he is convincing in his roles,
And he is very hot.
Also wish I could see him in a series again.

I thought they were were "objectively " comparing an exceptional steamy hot scene in TNP with the honey scene and could not understand if we watched same show.

have not seen TopForm -heard a lot about the that scene . Also heard a lot about My Stubbonr. However TNP the nc was underwhelming. It compares as a pretty average nc for a bl show.
I have seen LITA and compared to ny nc scene in LITA show, well this show is lukewarm at best. And I am watching the uncut version.

If all this is true and if he does not have morals, and deceiving and manipulating others is how he operates, then its good that its out there.

We are all human, and growing. There is no need to be unkind, but its nice to be aware of the morals of people you idolise, or chose to date, or befriend And maybe a good idea to leave those people aloneeee.

Absolutely - dont know much about the book but understanding their relationship and motivations would have worked better. At the moment it was caricature "psychopath" character.

I liked the toxic second couple but i feel they could have done it better. But in all I enjoyed the show.

I am disappointed that they did not do justice to this story. It was rushed and certain topics should have been better explored.

I love the second couple - they stole the show. Their chemistry and dynamics is more interesting and I wish we got better insight . Hoping for a second season where they focus on Chain / Jorn.

I wish I understood why Chain cowers to Jorn especially when he is physically stronger and can easily overpower him. Or what the past history is between those two.

Also why do they force GL couples in BL shows. They should have focused on the 2 main couples and done away with the school setting and class captian voting. Did not understand the value that added and confused me as to purpose.

I am comfortable with my morals. I dont need to be told that its wrong to romanticise toxic relationships and that rap.e is wrong. If there is violence I fast forward but I dont sit and judge how others are terrible to enjoy and romanticise mafia type shows and moralise what actions are good and bad and dictate what others should watch. You can do the same.

Shows are fiction. If something makes me uncomfortable I fast forward or dont watch. But Im not going to judge the morality of showing a particular trope in a fiction show and dictate to writers what topics they can explore. And be hypocritically selective based on my "superior morals". Live and let live.

i dont let my superior morality dictate to others what tropes I should or should not enjoy. Or tell writers what themes they should explore in their novels.

I enjoyed this one. It was cute allround.

I would hate for Smart to be cancelled and to receive hate. Its a form of bullying and fans should be made to realise its not acceptable behaviour. We can do our bit by noticing the bullying, trying to educate delusional fans, or at least pointing it out. So I appreciate your post.

There may be valid reasons to breach a contract - we never know what goes on. I feel sorry for Boom as well to be in this situation. We can try to be kind.

This Thailand concept of actors building a "relationship brand" feeds into fans delusions. Its the nature of the game. Dont get me wrong I am sometimes enjoying the pairing but I would be okay without it.

I sometimes read the posts on reddit that discuss how "XYZ couples love is so real" based on a sighting, fan services, a photo shoot, or a quote. Its very cringe. I also get annoyed how they make assumptions about their sexuality. If I was an actor it would make no diff to kiss a man or a woman because its acting.

We don't know the truth or actual reasons behind this business partnership breakup. It takes strength to walk away from something that does not feel right for you.

But its fair to critise an actor for not honouring a contractual obligation you made to commit to future projects. Time and financial investments were made based on those contracts.

He is a big reason why I hated ThamePo. Both set in the music industry and had some similar themes. But ThamesPo was bland and boring, and I did not feel 5% of emotions I got from watching Only Boo. This actors performance left a huge impression.

I know everyone loved ThamePo but it felt contrived. Like we have a big budget and a few good looking actors, so lets do this music industry story. Dont get me wrong Williams is gorgeous but the acting was tepid and for me the whole series is forgettable.

I totally get that it has a lot sentimental appeal and meaning for a lot of viewers. Its good and I cant personally find much fault with it.

Its just not that memorable to me or does not have an emotional impact like other series do - there is a lot more to compete with.

I have seen Mark in other shows and loved his performances. Hope that MarkOhm's are given more projects. The show had issues and that is not because of their chemistry or acting.

Actors were great but the show tried to be too clever and got convoluted. I was lost for a great part as things did not make sense and wanted clarification to move ahead. I understand there are red herrings but that was not the problem. Making sense of the plot was the problem. I love psychological dramas but maybe the plot was bollocks.

If the edited better, and included some parts from predator and movie it would have been better.

But the lead actors playing the psychopath offspring (doctor and policeman) were great in the role and tragic.
