yepp you’re right, the novel only had the first one. the drama added the fake wedding with ZYH but I’m not sure if XQS and Nanyi will have a wedding in the drama, but they are married cos she did say “my husband Xie Queshan did not betray the country!” I hope they have a ceremony 🥺I want to see them dressed up!!

I originally thought it was sad ending cos of the novel ending and everyone was talking about it, but from yesterdays videos from filming, it seems like it’s happy. I’m not sure if this is like the extra story in the drama, alternate universe, dream, or after many years pass then they meet again. dramas usually make changes from the novel so it depends what ending they decide 🤔

no, this is from chapter 60. this is the scene where Nanyi was saying goodbye to song Muchen before escaping on a small boat. when she got on the boat she discovered Xie Queshan was waiting for her. she lied to him before at the festival, saying that she would make lanterns with him so he waited for her, but she was actually leaving him. later he takes her to a hunting lodge and leaves her “to die”, but she shatters her bracelet and escapes. then she joins the Bingzhu division.
