I had a bit of a hard time really getting into this series until about episode 6 but then I was HOOKED. The ending did feel rushed (if it hadn't been shorted, it would have been cool to see more done with Tawi, Todd, B&W's parents) but I'm still very satisfied with the conclusions they gave our main characters. I haven't seen many Thai dramas so I couldn't help but compare it to KinnPorsche as I was watching... and wow. I liked this one a lot more. The cinema, the chemistry, the story, and the pace. Everything was much more to my liking. Truly a gem!!
I know Jaehyun is supposed to be framed as an innocent, well intentioned, love-at-first-sight style of character but his actions are truly so unsettling its distracting. If you put in suspense background music during his scenes, he would suddenly become the stalker villain to the main love line (roommate romance) lol
The last 8 episodes were a real struggle. I had high hopes for this drama but perhaps my expectations were too high. Silver lining was KHY was a delight as EDO
I haven't read the manhwa, so if I'm just making this up and I read the subtitles wrong, then forgive me. but…
In the manhwa its a little more clear but what Taejoon means by that. Remember Wonyoung said in the first episode that he was on a trip out of frustration for not finding a job and decided to stay because he was inspired by Taejoon talking about the plates. As a result, Taejoon feels responsible for him sticking around because of that.
I binged the Manwha as well and i loved it. I am glad the drama brought the manwha to my notice. What do you think…
There have just been a couple scenes that i felt were poorly executed and i only say that because the same scenes actually made more sense in the manhwa because i couldn't understand Gongchan's version of Wonyoungs actions/thoughts. But honestly overall I am fine with his interpretation. I don't think he deserves the amount of negative comments he's receiving. I think he's nailing the main characteristics of Wonyoung and appearance-wise he was definitely an excellent choice. What are your thoughts?
After watching the first four episodes I decided I couldn't wait for Friday and binged the whole manhwa in a day. Very much looking forward to the rest of the show but I am also curious as to how they will translate the story in only 10 episodes
Despite this drama being a bust story-wise, it has honestly been an utter delight watching Han Jihyun. She really captures every emotion so well and episode 15 really showcased this. She has a bright future ahead of her
If university/school setting dramas are your thing then yes! But it's nothing groundbreaking story-wise
It's simple but the characters are likable and it's got a slight thriller element to keep you on your toes. I personally like university dramas so I'm really enjoying it. The biggest cliches are probably with the character types but the plot is unique with the cheer squad!
